What a surprise NOT! I assume they’re hoping that people will be so buoyed up by the Jubilee celebrations that no-one will object.

He's got no idea what he's done has he?
Thick as a brick comes to mind.
This arrogant, entitled and thoroughly unpleasant piece of (‘royal’) work should never to presume he will be accepted back into public life and HM would be very ill advised to even consider it, despite him being her ‘favourite’, we’re told. He has has dealings with all manner of corrupt and unpleasant people, quite apart from the loathsome Mr Epstein, has borrowed money and done shady deals and conned freebies out of whomsoever he could ‘dazzle’ with the thinly gilded glamour of royalty! Whether he is guilty or not of the accusations levelled against him ( and others do far worse!), royalty must be beyond reproach to command respect in public life. Like another ‘second son’ I could name, he has tarnished his already compromised reputation beyond repair with his recent actions and would also tarnish the monarchy with his re emergence. I hope that Prince Charles ( himself no stranger to poor behaviour and scandal) and Prince William will bring force to bear to keep him away. After all, it is their throne he is jeopardising!

Andrew did work; twenty-two years as a helicopter pilot, I believe.
Whatever went wrong after he left the Forces?Perhaps his experiences in The Falklands changed him.
He loved playing the hero though, returning from the Falklands with a rose between his teeth. After that he was pretty useless and even corrupt in his role as “business envoy” or whatever it was. He’s extremely arrogant and entitled and just puts peoples backs up. I think he’s desperate to get his feet back under the royal table before Charles becomes king as there won’t be much chance afterwards.
He’s completely oblivious to public opinion, remember the uproar when he took centre stage at his fathers memorial service, ‘helping’ the Queen to her place. I agree she probably needed that but any other member if the RF would have been preferable.

Who did the booing at Harry and Meghan? I didn’t watch it as I was at work.
I think it was actually Boris that got booed, not the Sussexes. But Boris supporters prefer to believe the latter.
It would make no difference IMO what and how much PA tried to do to ingratiate himself to the general public, and possibly some members of his own family.
He's out as far as titles and public appearances go and should stay out.

I'm no Boris supporter.
But Harry and Meghan were definitely booed. Which I thought dreadful.
Boris was indeed booed. But I wasn't concerned about him.

The Sussexes were said to be booed on arrival and on leaving. It didn’t sound very loud to me if at all, the arrival anyway, but some media have made a big do about it. I did read it depends on the microphone so who knows?
He has lost any public respect he had, if in fact he ever had any.
Now in today's Times they are calling HM The Queen's mental health into question by say the family are protecting her physical and mental health. There has never been any question about her mental health.
No, just no.
I can see his mother would like him to be less reviled but he has appeared on TV saying things we just could not believe. He made me think of a wide-eye toddler lying when you ask if he's eaten the chocolate. But, regardless of whether his supposed victim was over the UK age of consent, he had two close friends who were openly a paedophile and a procuress.
He's also "earned" money touring the world on trade delegations where he made no contribution at all.
Honestly I think he should just sit down and be quiet. For ever.
Miss Adventure
Why should it be ? More like 'as spoken by one now long gone famous actor' Frankly my dear I don' t give a damn
No. He's toast ....or should be.

What is it these men that the U.K. keeps producing.
An immoral PM who doesn’t give a fig, or only to the extent it affects what he wants and expects to do in life, and an immoral member of the RF also having no care either for public opinion or the hurt he causes, who also doesn’t give a fig.
We need some sort of school they need to be sent to to be taught how to behave.
Borstal?
Since the 1960s most countries of the Western world have accepted a decline in moral standards.
We accept that couples live together without being married, that married couples divorce and re-marry - some more than once.
That "most people" cheat the Inland revenue, that taking someone else's pen or pencil at work and not returning it is okay - it was called stealing and dealt with as such in my schooldays.
There are many more examples I could cite, but I won't - just ask how you expect anyone to have moral standards these days, where lying, petty thieving, adultery, leaving work early without permission all have some other nicer name so no-one feels they are doing wrong if they tell an untruth, nick anything, sleep with someone they are not married to , etc. etc.?
Perhaps the family are being a bit hasty cutting Andrew adrift so quickly, it may be something that they come to regret in terms of duty. Charles/Camilla now in their mid seventies and having to take on more work, short of extra pair with the exit of Harry/Meghan, everything now rests on William/Kate, Princess Anne is also into her seventies, Edward/Sophie are in their fifties and not used to so many public duties. Perhaps old Andy has worked out the logistics of the workload. There is a 'black sheep' in most families but sometimes they can be useful if willing even if they are a bit of an oick.
Apparently Charles and William have now stepped in. William basically said 'it's him or me' about the Garter service yesterday. Andrew just doesn't get it, does he?

I agree, but that does sort of tie in with Harry's comment about wanting to check his grandma was "protected", presumably mentally. Physically her every need is met. Either he was right or just spurting nonsence?
The royals do exactly what they like and to hell with what the plebs think. We only have to look at how that posterior orifice Phoney Bliar has been awarded the Order of the Garter despite being one of the most hated PMs in living memory and despite over a million people signing a petition opposing it. I’d have given him the Order of the Boot!
More hated than Thatcher and Johnson ?
I know people who came in contact with Prince Andrew when he was the Trade Envoy and the said he was extremely opinionated and arrogant all the time and very difficult to work with. He was even rude and tried to tell capable, highly skilled and well respected people how they should do their job. He was not popular and visits were challenging because of him. He was very unpopular as he had respect for nobody but expected people to run around taking care of him constantly.
I wonder why he is as he is, when by all accounts I’ve heard Princess Anne and Prince Edward are both humble, hardworking royals who keep their heads down and get on with the job? Families can be so unpredictable.
A was second in line for a long time. As soon as Charles started producing children and then grandchildren, A knew he was lost. I have read that Margaret (also second in line for a while) was quite a dreadful woman. Her lady in waiting, Lady Glenconner, has written a very entertaining book. Margaret couldn’t even use a kettle.

I think most would still draw the line at being involved in child/under age sex trafficking.
I know he says he didn't meet the girl involved, and didn't know what Epstein was doing, but paying out £12 million to avoid giving evidence is probably not to best way to declare your innocence...?
He needs to consider himself lucky that Mummy had the wealth to buy him out of the trial, and just retire out of sight.?

Surely Beatrice and Eugenie could be roped in. Not Andrew.
I agree it’s not the schools, it’s the sense of privilege and entitlement combined with lack of understanding how real people live and think the Royals are born into
