Further controversy is the last thing the Royal Family needs right now. But, once again, the Prince of Wales’s willingness to accept large sums of money from controversial foreign businessmen and politicians has plunged the heir to the throne into murky waters

Oh come on, the man is being framed. Someone, somewhere doesn’t want him to succeed to the throne. I am not a monarchist by any stretch of the imagination but fair suck of the sauce bottle ,as they say.

Don't think he's being framed.

His charity confirmed it happened.

Even if it is all above board and legal, and I believe it is, how does it look that the charity accepted this money from Bin Laden's brothers a couple of years after the terrorist was killed? The heir to our (apparently) unique and unimpeachable monarchy doesn't have the sense to see how that would look to the public.

How many times are we expected to parrot the line that "it was all perfectly legal" before somebody cottons on that the Prince of Wales's Charity is just a bit dopey?

Oh dear, there do seem to be a few unsavoury things about Prince Charles coming to public attention don’t there?
I don’t know how anyone would want to accept money from this particular family after what their family member did, charity or no charity!

This fantasy of the Queen's dignity being protected through secrecy and unique privileges in law cannot carry on.

It will but it shouldn't.
