I recently started watching GB News and am finding it so interesting. Once you get past the different format to the usual news programmes it is very good. There are so many different views expressed from all political spectrums. I like that contributors are allowed to say their piece and it's then debated. Not just left or right wing views.
This thread never seems to trend today 🤔
Our supposedly impartial BBC is increasingly leaning to the left, despite protestations from the left, and this is clearly visible in both the decision to publish this information, and the reaction to the truth, as seen by the evidence provided by Shinamae.
It is extremely worrying. I would like the channel which by law I am made to pay for, to be completely impartial in its reporting.
I liked Simon Jack’s reporting too Callistemon, but he made a grave error of judgment in taking these lies straight back to the BBC, and both he and the BBC made a grave error of judgment in making this false information public without any proof. Everyone is entitled to confidentiality from their bank, whoever they are, and however much they are disliked by the public.

Early hours of Wednesday morning: Alison Rose has resigned. There seems to be little contrition for the huge mistakes she has made and the damage she has caused.
I am sure she will swiftly move to another prestigious post at another institution with an equally enormous salary.
Good, the right decision.
Yes, of course she will.
They cause disasters then move on. How?
As someone once said to another candidate when we were waiting to go in for interviews "It's not what you know, it's who you know".

I think Simon Jack should go too.
I liked his reporting, but he made a huge error of judgement in this case!
I also believe he wouldn’t have been able to do this without the platform he has on GB News. No wonder the establishment and those on the left hate it so much. This is what frightens them so much as they’re shining a light on things the others won’t touch.
What I can't understand is how Coutts Bank , Nat West, could have been SO stupid as to take on somebody like NF? Of all people to choose he was almost certainly not going to take their accusations lying down when, as has now been proved, they were completely untrue. My 16 year old grandson would have had more sense! Stupidity and or arrogance? bit of both I suspect! Well it's cost the Bank and the BBC dearly in the way of reputation and status. As for the P.O, another disgraceful episode which not only wrecked lives, but cost a few as well ,still not fully resolved and still causing untold misery. What's wrong with these people? How can they be able to get away with it? Perhaps Nigel can assist in this case too as he appears to be the only person able to help against these appalling beaurocrats.
Shinamae and Oreo. I think we will wait a very long time!! 😝
It’s a bit like bullying in the playground. Pick on somebody and then try and get everybody else to believe what nasty stuff you are saying about them. Didn’t work on GN though!!
There’s nothing the naysayers can say is there? NF proved beyond a doubt that he was debanked for his political views and not because of the lie that he didn’t have enough in his account.
Just because posters don’t like a person or his views they are willing to believe the worst, what are the things that were said earlier in this thread? Dirty money from Russians and so on?
Well now the truth is out there as Fox Mulder used to say.
And it’s the tip of the iceberg with what banks are doing.
Families of politicians as well as many business owners and ordinary people being denied accounts for spurious reasons.
Well done Nigel Farage I say.
I’m just waiting for the naysayers to make an appearance on here. 🤓
Fantastic news 👏👏👏. Picked on the wrong person with Nigel Farage.
PS I am a big fan of Baroness Foster! A very considered and smart lady who means what she says.

Yes, I agree, which is sad as I used to enjoy his contributions on South Today and the Today programme.
Farage has asked for the resignation of Peter Flavel CEO of Coutts and Howard Davies, NatWest Chairman.
The whole board should go!

I cannot see how this woman ever reached such an important post; she seems to be a complete and utter fool, discussing a customer's personal details with a BBC journalist at a very public social function. She appears to have been far more concerned with DIE and promoting gay pride than in running an efficient Bank, and no concern whatsoever for people whose livelihoods were ruined by closure of their accounts because they didn't share her views.
£5 million salary for this. These idiots appear with depressing regularity, put in charge but without a clue.
They create mayhem then move on to other high profile rôles.
Paula Vennells (who has a CBE!!) CEO of the Post Office, presiding over the still unresolved scandals and went on to land rôles as an adviser to the Cabinet Office and chairman of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London.
Isn't it the case that we wouldn't be in this mess (debanking) if it wasn't for the changes made to the PO, by (I assume) Paula
Vennells?
Until then we had the right to a bank account.
I read somewhere, that women are part of the reason ESG, DEI, Stonewall etc., has spread so easily throughout our institutions, businesses charities etc.
Because women who reach the top are keen to run things differently from the men (patriarchy).
So they are more receptive to this type of ideology.
(can't say that word without remembering Maureen Lipman Ooo he's got an ology means your a scientist)
I hate to think that is so.
Probably made up by a man who had his nose put out by a woman!!

Hey I've just had a thought, would any of the fuss around de banking have been possible without GB News?
It gave NF the platform he needed.
No one else made a fuss certainly not the BBC, who would have shut the story down asap, imv.
More reasons for me to watchIt’s on now as “NatWest CEO admits She leaked Nigel’s bank information to the BBC!”
Well done Nigel (let’s just wait for the haters 😁)I'm not a Farage Fan but this whole business is wrong on many levels
And yes, it may be just the tip of a huge iceberg.
Alison Rose seemed to be almost laughing in front of the cameras.Yes Callistemon tip of the iceberg. I thought of it as having very deep roots
Some of these sayings are very apt arn't they?
Are they Shakespearean I wonder?

More recent, perhaps, from the sinking of the Titanic.
She’s on now, and I really like Baroness Foster..
eazybee it all stems from ESG. All the main banks have signed up to it.
It is more concerned with taking care of the environment and pride than it's customers.

Two journalist guests on GB News just saying AR is toast now and has to go. Another journalist was on earlier and he said even the lowliest bank Clerk would know that the most important part of their job is confidentiality and if they broke it they would lose their job straight away. So why isn’t AR losing her job? He predicts she will be gone by the end of the week.
