In my life, a remembrance service for ex-servicemen who served during the war has been cancelled as has an appointment I had with the care service with respect to my father.

I'm sorry about your funeral arrangements paddyann54.

World's gone mad.

In the U.K., funerals are not all cancelled it is down to the discretion of the undertakers, church, crematorium.

HER do you mean the late Queen Elizabeth II, it is not her fault, more likely to be your local council.

Next Monday we were due to attend the funeral of a friend of 43 years who died almost 3 weeks ago.
IT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
Because of the queens funeral .is this the ultimate act of entitlement ,HER funeral is more important than anyone els'es and they just have to get on a waiting list AGAIN to book a space .Family had all arranged time off work ,hotel was booked for the purvey ,childcare where needed arranged ,
This can not be right ,bad enough the North Korean approach of screens with The Queens photo, and sad music on all radio stations ,arresting people who have a diffeent viewpoint etc etc etc .
Now we have to wait who knows how long for a new space at the crem and I for one am bloody livid .
Surely our own dead deserve at least the same respect as someone we didn't know .?
