Eddie Butler has died today on the Inca Trail in Peru. He will be sadly missed in the world of rugby. He had a distinctive voice, instantly recognisable and was loved worldwide. Only 65.

I can remember him and his distinctive voice, he was like Brian Moore knew all the rules and explained things.
The only thing was he always played for Wales whether on the pitch or commentating.
Poor man what a young age for someone who had been so fit and sporty.RIP.flowers

That is sad news. He was walking the Inca Trail with his daughter and others to raise money for Prostate Cymru.

He played for Pontypool, Wales (as Captain) and British Lions

RIP Eddie Butler
