Someone may have already said this as I have not read every entry but it is very likely he is neurodiveregent. People in the found row were he was sitting were having a conversation at the time but that has not been blasted all over social media, They of course were elderly white people and not part of the new cabinet who I do not like but I think this has been an unfair criticism.
I haven't read all the comments either. Yes, he could be neurodivergent.
His behaviour did seem 'at odds' with the occasion but accusations of drug-taking, etc fuel rumour and speculation and, as much as I dislike this man's ideology and his general demeanour, I think it's wrong and unfair to condemn him without understanding why he behaved the way he did.

Oh I'd have definitely felt claustrophobic in those pews!
Yes, so would I! My bout of odd behaviour happened during the stalling of what was then (1970s) called the "drain train" - from Waterloo Station to Bank Underground. The train suddenly and silently came to a halt in the tunnel; everyone around me either studied their nails, the morning paper, or just stared into space, whilst I sweated, fidgeted and smiled manically at anyone who caught my eye and who I thought might give me a friendly pat on the shoulder and tell me it's-all-OK-we'll-be-moving-again-in-a-minute...
