Galaxy, I agree- the trigonometry image made me smile, too. It makes you wonder about her IQ, doesn't it? I do feel that I have a better grasp of politics/ economics than she does. She is an Oxbridge graduate, and my A level results would never have achieved a Cambridge place - unless there's a FE college there.

Trigonometry to a labrador is making me laugh. Possibly as I am gazing at my lab puppy who has yet to understand his tail is part of his body.

My bet is that the mini-budget will be withdrawn. Mind you that will ruin her politically - so perhaps that guess is wrong.

Also seen on Twitter yesterday, from Phil Harrison:

I don't think Starmer quite knows what to with Truss at #PMQs.
It's like trying to explain trigonometry to a labrador. She just stands there, gazing uncomprehendingly at him.

Yes I saw that???

Casdon

I’ve been following BBC News live online this morning, and it sounds like something might happen imminently.

Oh that’s interesting, last night on Newsnight it was reported that a Tory mp said that she has to go tomorrow. I’m sure he didn’t mean it literally.

I also think we were here so often with Johnson and nothing happened because of the spineless ness of Tory MPs

For those who don’t read Twitter I thought I would share some tweets,

Beth Rigby. “Hear from an MP that the PM’s gone to tearoom after PMQ’s.”

Ian Dunt “Oh F* she’s in the tearoom phase. Usually that comes right at the end. It’s like the double-dose morphine of political strategies.”

Duncan Bell “Hiding in a fridge can’t be far off.”

James Fox-McGowan “Genuinely feel she won’t see out October. But who’s next?”

Kahn Johnson “I think we all get a go. It’ll be like National Service.”
