Something Prof Brian Cox did tweet:

'As Prime Minister, I will take on the Laws of Nature, to construct perpetual motion power stations and build cities in the sky.’ As I’ve said before, you can convince people to vote for the abolition of gravity, but they will be pissed off when they hit the ground.

It’s like living on a tv drama, cliff hanger every hour friday

Just seen the term “libertarian jihadists” to describe the right wing of the Tory party that brought us Brexit and now this utter s..tshow.

Good term I think, and from a Tory MP!

I was not referring to you, Whitewave, I was referring to Urmston's post, by doing what she was doing.

Oh I apologise, wrong again!

Isn't judging the opinions of someone on the basis of their views of one subject rather simplistic?

But then, what else would one expect from anyone who reads the Daily Telegraph.

You might have posted something a bit different if you had read my last post.

The point of it being highlighted, is that it is known as the Tory mouthpiece and to now question Brexit, is indeed significant.

I didn’t make it clear - I’m sorry for the confusion.

Cox has simply repeated what the Telegraph has written by one of its editors -

Jack Warner - who is more or less saying that Brexit is the disaster that project fear said it would be.

For the telegraph to print such opinions when it has ignored Brexit for all these disastrous years shows that there is indeed momentum behind the realisation that it should never have happened.

Nah! It’s an article by a well known Remainer.
That said, it’s why I like and subscribe to the Telegraph. Varying viewpoints are considered and discussed, which is good to bring perspective.

I am not bothered by him having Remainer views, more that he is a popular physicist and although there is no reason for him not to write his opinions about politics and economics, there is also no reason to take his views any more seriously than of any other intelligent person who has their own take on the Brexit situation.

ug you can see from this chart that your very right wing view. Is in the minority as far as Tory voters are concerned.

They are moving towards the centre ground, and rejecting the far right narrative.

Urmston, I know we disagree on this but - surely dismissing the views of Prf Cox because “he was a Remainer’ ’’ really won’t cut it. We are in dangerous waters

A turning point in The Telegraph? “

“Project fear was right and ‘if anything have underestimated both the calamitous loss of international standing and the scale of the damage that six years of policy confusion and ineptitude has imposed on the country.’”
