Agree with you Chestnut, you can't crack Matt. He had shown himself to be unfailing in whatever task he takes on but it's boring. The people that whinge the most about him couldn't do what he has, fact it's amazing how many are so forgiving of their own failings and so judgemental and unforgiving of others. He has apologised and is genuinely sorry. I think Matt made mistakes but he alone wasn't responsible for mid takes with Covid. Would like to see Chris, Sue and George do some beastly challenges, wonder how many meals they might get. I can think of one who would probably be flown home.

Those who are watching have admiration for MH as a contestant, not as a politician. He has done amazingly well, and if you had seen the disgusting challenges you would have to agree. He has done them with good humour and determination and has kept the others well fed (very important). So lighten up, it's just a game, it's not real life.

Why do you think Hancock is on this "game"? This entirely optional game? Where people get kudos for doing entirely useless and self inflicted disgusting "challenges"?

Is he there to get food for people and talk about dyslexia?

Or to show the public what a good guy he is, so that lots of people will have a different feeling about him in years to come?

I totally disagree with Matt Hancock being in the jungle. If everyone would stop voting ALL TOGETHER then ITV would realise what a mistake they have made. While people watch and vote there are very happy advertisers (paying ITV heaps) and very content ITV directors.

I wouldn't be surprised if he won either Oreo. He's got more chance of winning than the ones making nasty comments behind his back, but enjoying the food he keeps winning for them.

I’d like to see the horrible Chris Moyles do a challenge. Or Mike Tindall, not because he’s horrible because he’s not, but because I think it’d be good viewing. Also Sue, who has disappointed me really with her whinging. I’ve seen enough of Matt Hancock now. He’s done the trials, he’s shown he’s good at them, we now need to see some of the others put to the test because that’s part of the entertainment surely. It’s totally boring seeing the same person every night.

Its been said over and over again, we want something silly to watch, to escape from all the gloom and doom! But some people just don't get it. 🤦‍♀️

I just don't understand it. Why watching people eat unspeakable things for fun is considered an escape. But we're all different.

For me it’s not all about the trials, I enjoy the interaction between the contestants who are far removed their comfort zones.

I think you all watch it for entertainment.

We all get our entertainment in different ways. Some of us like Stanley Tucci learning about the cuisine of Italy, some of us like "celebrities" we've never heard of before interacting with discredited politicians and pop stars.

Just because I dip in and out of IACGMOOH as and when does not exclude me from watching other programmes.

Stanley Tucci is the current favourite another one will be along and surpass him in the coming months.

You still don't get it. It's the interreaction between the contestants that we like, not the trials! Some of us don't even watch the trials. I have never watched this programme before because the contestants never appealed to me. But this time they do, MH in particular, just to see how the others cope with him day in and day out. George and Moyles in particular are resentful and seething because he's doing so well, which is fascinating.

I’ve never heard of Stanley Tucci but if he does a cookery programme I’m sick to death of the number of cookery programmes on television. However I love Italy. I haven’t been since pre Covid but look forward to going again sometime.
