The young are delivering in the USA

Even more dangerous then!

Ron DeSantis is being described as Trump with a brain

Trump has been extremely unpleasant about deSantis even though they are both in the same party . It really does look like Trump is planning to stand again and won't put up with any rivals.

I’d put money on trump announcing on Tuesday that he’s standing again! Sadly he has a massive fan base who believe every word that comes out of his mouth. I was reading about the de Santos fellow and he is more trump than trump. Scary.

Thank goodness!! Finally Trump may be out and a level of sanity restored. (I just hope that the voters will reject DeSantis & all like-minded candidates....)

Mind you DeSantis seems to be a young Trump and tipped for presidential candidate.

Looking at his winning Florida photos, I thought his wife looked like a Stepford Wife - very weird.

I really hope so WWM2, when my dh speaks to his family back in the US, their only hope is for the Democrats to remain in power.

It's great news about the Democrats. I was really concerned that the Republicans would have a clean sweep.
DH is American and cannot stand Donald Trump.

I’m hoping it is the end of Trump.

It was the female turn out that greatly increased. Women annoyed at the erosion of their rights. The anti abortion acts have really made them think. Good.

I would be interested in the percentage change in the young, with regards to not voting to voting. I guess it was roe v wade that pushed the young vote out.

Yes I agree with you but they also need some, what’s the word, education, on politics. The two young lads I have been talking too on Facebook have lived through mostly a Tory government and seem afraid of Labour. They are keen on the Greens and their ideological but being such a small party they don’t stand a chance of leading the country but it’s refreshing to see young minds taking an interest. I have a thought that many of the young, like JRM look alike son are brainwashed into believing what their parents follow. We can hope.
