I have voted SNP all my life but lately I am beginning to wish there was an alternative. I am embarrassed at the woke nonsense going on since they had to get into bed with the Greenies.

As someone said on Twitter the headlines will be "Votes For Women Colours Banned By Scottish Parliament" Who ordered the removal of the scarves and by whose authority?

How ridiculous. Back in the day Suffragette’s wore jewellery with white, purple and green stones as secret signals of support. Time for the beads, broaches and earrings?

Probably to do with Women Won’t Wheest. Can’t have anything that supports female rights in the Scottish Parliament then? They’ve actually called more attention to it by banning it then they would have done if they just left it.

Quite frankly, people who use words like "woke" and "Greenies" are probably not suited to voting for a social democratic party anyway.

A rational explanation of why one set of colours-rainbow- is permissible but another set -women’s rights - is not ?

No I think it's a thread about excluding women from wearing an inoffensive scarf. You're happy for women's dress to be so regulated? The suffragette colours stand for the women who campaigned for us to get the vote. You have an issue with them?
