ULEZ!! Expansion

I live in the ULEZ area and support it. There isn’t a god given right to drive around in a car. People with disabilities get some sort of exemption and there is a scrappage scheme. Sometimes the long term health of the environment is more important than some peoples convenience.

One issue I have with the new Ulez zone is that TFL said they are improving bus services to compensate. I checked the details and there are six new/improved routes in north and east London, where they have tubes and only one in south London, where there are no tubes. Where I live in outer London, buses are not very good and was hoping this would improve public transport, but not so.

Traffic is very quiet here so don't think most drivers will be happy.
