Just been released.

Lots of black and white footage.

Kisses, laughter, tears.

We don’t have Netflix, so shan’t be watching it.

And don't ruin other people's happiness if you can't find your own

Um - let he or she who is without sin cast the first stone.

Invite cameras into your home, put your whole life on Netflix and everyone will feel they know you.

"Here we are, the sanitized version of the Megs and Hazza Show".

If they don't want public comments then it's best not to do that, surely.

I've seen enough of the news clips of it all to see the acting that's going on, I'll not be watching. I'd rather spend my time clearing out my drains.

Your right Smiles, both families are better off without this pair. Won’t be long before Harry realises his mistake, the signs are there now. Then what will become of Harry? I feel so sorry for William and Charles, glad they have devoted partners.

Smileless2012 Sat 10-Dec-22 18:03:21

Do you mean Harry CoolCoco? I mean that was a bitchy thing to say wasn't it, Meghan not having a father and he doesn't know his f.i.l. does he, never met him.

I think the Queen yet again summed up the situation with Harry when she said she feared he was “ a little too in love with Meghan”
Besotted is the word I would use though.
Until he is able to see his wife for the dreadful, scheming, manipulative woman she is, nothing will change.

Smileless2012 Sat 10-Dec-22 12:42:46

What a horrible thing to say. After her first Christmas in the UK didn't he say it was her first proper family Christmas?

I hope her father and family and the RF realise that they're better off with out the pair of them.

Harry stuck his foot in it again in the NF programme apparently (I refuse to watch it but have seen clips) by saying that Meghan has "no father" when - as her family have pointed out - she very much does have a father !

Oh dear, sounds like someone I know whose husband said his daughter no longer existed as she had married out of their extreme religion.

Another person I saw interviewed was Thomas Markle Jnr. who seems a perfectly normal nice guy. It seems Meghan still hasn't contacted her father who is in poor health, and let's face it could pop off any time. Harry has still never met him. Her father brought her up alone for some years and yet she has completely abandoned him and the family. Never invited any of them to the wedding, including her niece who she was very close to. None of this features in the H&M series. Thomas Jnr says the Markle family are going to make their own programme or series next year which will show 'their truth'. Should be worth watching! 😂

Ginny42 Sat 10-Dec-22 10:25:22

I have Netflix and there are some really good documentaries and lots of dramas which have kept me entertained since Covid arrived in our lives.

The H&M docudrama is something I won't be watching, however I have seen the headlines. I wonder can they possibly be happy with all that going on in their heads constantly, day in and day out? Can they really put it all out of their minds and have happy family times with their two young children? Children pick up on stress.

They are now alienated from both families except for her mother. Ironically King Charles III now has the same status in their lives as Thomas Markle struggling to overcome his stroke. Personnae non gratae - 'not welcome here'.

Watched last night, rather boring so far and do we really need to go over Harry’s childhood yet again? He’s definitely in thrall to Meghan, so she will be leading the way..l

I think I'll give it a miss.

Once seen, you can't unsee it.

If the BBC are devoting such a lot of time and effort to this you can only hope that people complain in their droves. I don't watch BBC Breakfast, but you definitely should complain. Why are they promoting Netflix for goodness sake?

I know! It's completely bonkers. And Jeremy Vine was going on about it on Radio 2 at lunchtime.

I'm really appalled at BBC breakfast have THREE journos watching each of episodes and giving viewers "regular updates" of what it's all about!?!?!? Why?????? It's a netflix series for netflix viewers daft enough to watch it! This is NOT what were all held to legal Ransome to pay BBC licence fee for!!!!! In fact I can get netflix and prime for the price of rotten BBC! If I cancel my licence fee who's gonna know? Ridiculous thing is I could actually be GAOLED for not paying it !!! Talk about North Korea?!?

Chestnut Thu 08-Dec-22 09:57:08

I agree that I can't bear the thought of watching all the simpering, fake smiles and fake tears. There will be endless clips and photos in the DM and on TV. Other people will tear it to shreds in the media so there's no need for me to waste time watching it. I know Meghan is an actress so will take centre role. She needs to be the star of the show and so she will be. Harry will take a supporting role.

I've already seen a clip of her with no make up and her hair in a towel, simpering away in front of the cameras! Just remember everything you see has a camera crew there. Most of it has several takes. Nothing is genuine emotion. She is an actress.

Zoejory Thu 08-Dec-22 08:08:43

It is, GrannyGravy13 I've just seen the first 3 minutes and switched it off. I'll just wait and read about it I think.

GrannyGravy13 Thu 08-Dec-22 08:01:11

It’s available to watch now …

Maggiemaybe Thu 08-Dec-22 07:53:07

I binge watched all The Crown’s earlier series, Calendargirl, so I’m sure you can. But I’m getting up now to switch on just in case. grin

Calendargirl Thu 08-Dec-22 07:08:50

merlotgran

If it’s on Netflix can you not access it an any time after release?

Don’t think so. Would have watched The Crown if I could. I suppose there is a box set to buy, but I am rather mean in that respect. Keep hoping it appears on another channel eventually.

What a weird pastime that thing called hate-watching must be. I'd never considered it in that way before, but it's sort of interesting. I've no idea whether I'm going to watch it in the hope of mocking it or not. It certainly won't keep me awake at night or enter my head today as I head off to work in the real world this morning and somehow manage to fit in a trip to M & S this afternoon to return a jumper. My life is very simple really.
What is the point in being malicious when you can't do anything about it anyway?
