Not an apologist - I feel quite neutral about this couple - but I am always amazed not just by how strongly Gransnetters feel on this topic but also how they appear to know everything about H and M on a personal footing!

Apparently according to online News I have just read, they took a Netflix photographer into Buckingham Palace without getting the Queen's permission, and there's a black and white photo of them there.

Well, Ukraine is being invaded by Russia and it's inhabitants suffering, in China free speech is being quashed further, in Afghanistan girls and woman have no basic rights, in Africa hundreds of thousands are lacking the basic human necessities such as clean water, adequate food, medical care, our NHS waiting lists are getting longer and individuals (myself included) have to suffer chronic pain, and I could go on and on. Harry and Meghan have a very privileged lifestyle and they and their family will want for nothing. They should look around them and count their blessings instead of bleating on and seeking publicity.

It appears that the response to the video isn’t going down too well with Netflix. So much so that they are going to review the contract in the new year.
I did see the like/ dislike figures this morning. I can’t remember what they were but they certainly weren’t in the Sussex favour.
Looks like they might not get all that £88 million. 😥

Harry appears to be jealous of William and Meghan always seemed to me to be jealous of Catherine.

They could have had the world at their feet in their own right within the Royal Family, but that was never going to be good enough.

Happiness isn't always about "getting what you want," it's often about deciding to "want what you get" if it's something that can't change.
Harry's position in the family is just such a thing.

Unless Meghan could disinvent herself she could never make some folk happy.

I think she has done the commonwealth family a great service. She as shown how thin the veneer of acceptance across the cultural and ethnic differences really are.

The world is in turmoil and all H and M can do is bleat on about how badly done by they are. What a pair of useless wallies.

I remember how happy and excited everyone was when Harry married Meghan. There was no racism, the country welcomed her. We thought it was the start of a new era of royal glamour and people loved the 'Fab Four'. But it has all gone so horribly wrong.

The fact they took a photographer into Buckingham Palace does rather indicate this was planned all along. Privacy was never on the agenda because they wanted to be just like the Kardashians. And so it came to pass.

I think it may have backfired on them. There are way way more dislikes than likes on U-tube apparently. And instead of scuppering William and Catherine in favour of themselves it has had the opposite effect. What’s the saying? The betrayer betrays themselves.

The timing of the release of the trailer to coincide with the visit of Prince William and Kate to Boston was done with pure spite. Nobody likes spiteful people.
They have misjudged the mood of the vast majority of the public not only in the U.K. but worldwide. My family in USA tell me they are looked at with derision over there, same from family in Australia.

We have Netflix but won’t be watching it. I think they have both become despicable. They chose to leave so should just get on with their lives and let the Royal Family get on with theirs. What do H & M hope to achieve? There is no way back for H now, M has destroyed him in my view. What a shame she wormed her way into thinking she would be a ‘Princess’. Nothing racism here, she is just scheming and manipulative. Now I will get off my soapbox and get on with my Sunday!

I think it's mostly young people who have fallen for their clap trap, 18-30 group, especially in the USA, maybe other countries. I guess the viewing figures will indicate support which is why we should not watch it just to see what it's like!
