While I am not mad about the Royal family, they do give the Country a degree of soft power around the World and to a degree keep the countries of the commonwealth onside. So I am bothered by Harry and Megan appearing to want to do all they can to destroy the monarchy for money. It is up to us the subjects to decide whether we do or don't what a monarchy or a republic not a third rate actress who couldn't make in Hollywood and a very dim Prince.
I think you'll find that images in the adverts can be symbolic, words in the actual programme are expected to be believed, Grantanow.
Grannygravy13, the news I listened to this morning said one person shouted out about how do you feel about destroying the Royal Family. If that is the case, it is hardly the majority feeling.
If - as Netflix claims - the fake images were not meant to be taken literally does that mean what the ex-Royals say isn't meant to be taken literally either?
I think you’re right. America seems to be losing interest, the Netflix series hasn’t been mentioned on CNN which I read each day, or if it has it hasn’t made the headlines at all. I suppose there’s only so much to say, and with no contact likely from now on, it will burn out for lack of new material.
I read WWM2's post as referring to the whole RF.
Maybe she'll be able to clarify for us.
Yes the whole of the RF.
The queens death will, I think, be seen as the catalyse for the waning of the RF.
It was a completely random comment and didn't contribute to the demonisation of M&H and trashing of their work, then. Or reinforce the negative attitudes shown towards them by some many posters on here.
(Another sarcastic emoji alert)
We post things that build on our prejudices. All of us.
(Didn't know about the IRA thing. There's the Boston Tea Party though.)
So a minority of the population reacting badly and heckling doesn't really tell us anything about the whole population's attitude to something.
Jeezy peeps volver
I was scrolling Twitter (wasting time before my gym class) I saw the clip (from several angles and different people)
As GN is obsessed with The Sussexes I decided to post what I had seen.
(Disclaimer, I am a royalist, I haven’t got an anti M & H agenda I do dislike washing ones dirty laundry in public which seems all the rage in the 21stC)
When The Sussexes arrived at the event they were heckled ^how do you feel about destroying the Royal Family^
And the Waleses didn't get the warmest of receptions at the Boston basketball game.
Your turn.
I was not commenting on The Prince & Princess of Wales.
But here goes, Boston has never been overly friendly to the U.K. royal family, it was pointed out in the news that it has been in the past known for funding the IRA, and that is where their sympathies lay.
I do stick by what I said though volver, that wasn’t a headlining article, and they are no longer making the front pages in the USA on an almost daily basis as they did, the fatigue has set in. It will be interesting to see what the reaction to the Netflix production is a few episodes in.

You know what the implication of "actress" used to be. Some people still think it's a put-down, it seems.
Has anyone done an analysis of those who are vocal about how bad M&H are, and those who think Ngozi Fulani brought it on herself and was trying to cause trouble?
That Venn diagram is close to a circle, I suspect.
