Describing a confrontation at his London home in 2019, Harry says William called Meghan “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”, which Harry calls a “parrot[ing of] the press narrative” about his American wife.

No, I expect William was being protective of the staff who had been verbally abused by Meghan.

Good on yer, Wills!

Liz Hurley denied it was her a few weeks ago.

Liz Hurley denied it was her a few weeks ago.

Well, I can’t believe that ‘in a field at the back of a pub’ would be quite her style

mokryna Thu 05-Jan-23 17:51:26

Harry is so angry he wants to bring down the British monarchy and the Commonwealth.

What, it was her wot hit Harry, not Wills??

Oh! iswym

Is Harry auditioning for a job as a soap opera script writer?

JaneJudge Thu 05-Jan-23 17:53:40

Ho did Liz even know about it? grin

volver is criticising Gransnet posters for making things up but 90% is straight from H&M! Harry condemns himself from his own mouth with all this nonsense. And yes it is nonsense when a trained soldier bleats that he is scared of his big brother and can't even defend himself. The pathetic stories just keep coming and we can barely keep up. We are giddy and breathless with disbelief! 😲

FannyCornforth Thu 05-Jan-23 17:56:29

Can I just add my name to that of Elizabeth Hurley, that as ‘an older woman’ who has oft times been spotted ‘in a field at the back of a pub’; it was nowt to do with me

JaneJudge Thu 05-Jan-23 18:17:56

biarrely the only person i could think of who was papped ina field in undress was Katie Hopkins blush

Smileless2012 Thu 05-Jan-23 18:19:52

This isn't going to help sales is it. By the time it comes out next week we'll all know what's in it and no one will want to buy it.

How do you know it's nonsense?

TerriT Thu 05-Jan-23 18:32:24

I think it might have been me in that field but it was dark so not absolutely sure. But he spoke posh sounding gent and said he was from the aristocracy and would make me famous one day. So do you think that’s finally happened !!!??

JaneJudge Thu 05-Jan-23 18:39:23

now the news are saying he had a smaller bed when growing up confused
grin

A few weeks ago it was in the news that there was a rumour Harry lost his virginity to an older woman and, apparently, Liz had been mentioned. She denied it.

Obviously it’s known about in certain circles and I believe the press know an awful lot more than we think,

There was nothing said regarding fields and behind pubs!

😂
Well, you certainly look sultry with those flowing auburn curls, FannyCornforth!

It wasn't me. I'm Gangsta Granny, far too old.

Well, he was smaller, probably in a cot, what did he expect?
Then a toddler bed.

I bet he had the smallest bedroom too. First come, first served.

Mind you, our middle child had the smallest bedroom and he still hasn't forgiven me! 😲

Callistemon21 Thu 05-Jan-23 18:50:12

Has he not realised that if he was Number One Child he would now be Prince of Wales and one day become King?

Did he really want that?
With his dislike of of the media?

Harry is so angry he wants to bring down the British monarchy and the Commonwealth.

As younger princelings have done before him.

GladEye Thu 05-Jan-23 19:00:22

Now that we know who it is amongst us that was in the carpark with him, who's going to own up to being "the woman who claimed to have powers" and gave him sage advice? Reckon I know who it is.....

Just watched the lunchtime news. It seems that the journalist for the Guardian’s US part, the one who has seen (and I suppose read) the leaked book, says that the over riding theme is Harry’s resentment at being ‘the spare’.

I distinctly remember Harry being interviewed after the birth of either George or Charlotte, and he was asked how he felt about going one step further away from the line of succession. His reply was that he was thrilled about it, and he seemed genuinely pleased that the arrival of William’s children meant that his role was not so important, as such.

Seems to me that it’s mainly since Meghan’s arrival that being ‘the spare’ has caused him such heartache. He certainly didn’t appear to be bothered by it before that.

Thats because the press was racially abusing his wife

WellsRose Thu 05-Jan-23 19:03:31

Kate1949

Exactly Deedaa. He says he was 'scared' when William confronted him. Yet he faced and killed insurgents?

Well it's a bit different if it's your brother.

GrannyGravy13 Thu 05-Jan-23 19:08:00

Oh dear the bedroom saga in our house eldest had biggest room, next had second biggest and so on and so on.

We regretted this as as soon as a child left home bedroom hierarchy ensued. We entered into a constant round of redecorating several rooms at a time as they moved on up

Alioop Thu 05-Jan-23 19:08:20

Harry had a smaller bed than William, no wonder he's fuming. My sister always got the top bunk, it just wasn't fair 😉

JaneJudge Thu 05-Jan-23 19:10:42

I actually think the whole Royal family needs to sleep in the box room
