The news has just come through that they have found one of her gloves in the field

Her partner is apparently not happy with the Police response. They would not hold a press conference, and are only now looking for any anglers which were on the river that day.

Despite insisting they are keeping an open mind, the police do seem obsessed with their theory that the river holds the answer.
It must be incredibly frustrating for the poor family.

COPS searching for Nicola Bulley were handed a ­mystery “stained” glove found in the field where the mother of two was last seen, it emerged tonight.

Lancashire Police will hold their first press conference in eight days on Wednesday at 11.30am. It is expected to be led by Assistant Chief Constable Peter Lawson and senior investigating officer Detective Superintendent Rebecca Smith.

The police are holding a conference this morning.

Are the police too focussed on CCTV coverage these days and forgetting to do the procedures that they used to do?

I've just heard this. They said Nicola was deemed high risk due to a number of specific vulnerabilities, but they refused to enlarge .

I didn't think it the most helpful of comments.

Her specific vulnerabilities were called private and personal, the police are respecting that, as they should.

Out of respect for the family I think it’s perfectly understandable that the police don’t wish to elaborate on what the specific vulnerabilities are.
It obviously has a bearing on why their ‘main working hypothesis’ is that she entered the water. They stressed though that all lines of enquiry are still open.
