This, in the news is breaking my heart.
I hope she comes home safe soon - but every passing day is such a worry.

A body has been found

I just read that too. How very sad, whoever it is.

I read the police's statement on Facebook, it was surrounded by howls of incompetence from the armchair detectives. 🥺

Until we know more of the circumstances how can anyone say exactly what happened?

Kalu Sun 19-Feb-23 15:25:20

Heartbreaking news. 😢

I have never forgotten your darling girl Annie and I am sickened by the fact you and her children had to read such vile messages. 💐
My heartfelt sorrow to Kate and Joseanne

One never knows if sharing their personal life is a good idea but without doubt it will reach out to those who need to know they are not alone with their own struggles.

My heart goes out to anyone battling with an illness such as alcoholism and to their families.

FannyCornforth Sun 19-Feb-23 16:16:55

lemsip please let it drop.
This is an incredibly sensitive subject, it may well be for you too, but, just leave it be

Thoughts and prayers with the family and all others who have lost a love one🙏🏻

What a relief for the family that at last they know what happened.

I know they were hoping against hope for a happy ending, but any conclusion, is a conclusion and better than not knowing, and in all honesty, this is the conclusion that was always the most likely.

As far as I know, the body found has not been identified yet.

I caught it on the radio as I was putting out Sunday lunch for my son and grandsons. I felt tearful. Terribly sad and tragic.

Kalu it would be a massive coincidence for it not to be her that has been found.

Urmstongran Sun 19-Feb-23 17:21:02

We were having a drink in the bar below us when this strap line came up. We 3 all agreed that it was incredibly sad. That poor family grieving, those poor little girls. My stepfather said it was not an unexpected ending.

An anonymous tip off apparently. Then within an hour, the body was found.

A tragic ending indeed.

Thank you to everyone of you who has taken part in this thread. There has been much empathy, not much speculation and an overwhelming sadness anticipating what the family and her close friends must have been enduring.

Our hearts go out to them all at this time of great sadness.

RIP Nicola Bulley. Gone but not forgotten. x

I do hope the family are now allowed to grieve in private.

RIP Nicola 🙋‍♀️

Knowing the press, GG, sadly I doubt they will be left in peace.

If it is confirmed that this is indeed Nicola Bulley, it’s awful to think of the state of her mind at the time for her to leave her family in such a way.
When we think of good health, mental health is such an important factor.

It is beyond sad that she didn’t get the help she needed. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

I too am mindful of how difficult this must be for Annie, Joseanne and Kate.
Nicola’s family will never be the same. Questions will constantly arise which can never be answered.

A mum, a partner, daughter, sister Friend, my heart goes out to them all 💔

Surely you would avoid reading this thread (or even the media) if something similar had happened to your family?
