Same meat, different gravy.
With a side of Brexit to add flavour. Bashing the UK is a pastime for some on here.
Oh dear.
I think they may regret this statement. Brits abroad spend a lot of money.
What are your thoughts on this?

I’m surprised you haven’t come across the Russians partying in the Ski resorts. They aren’t just annoying they are scary.
But hey ho, you just keep on bashing the brits.
'What do you get out of slating U.K. tourists?'
absolutely nothing, as I am one. But let's go back to the OP- because this is what it is all about. Many British tourists have been very embarrassed by the behaviour of some groups.
As for owners and staff- yes, we do talk to them when this kind of behaviour happens- and they tell us what they think. In Crete recently, and in Sharm-el-Sheik with a friend a few years back, and other European destinations recently. When in Slovenia last Summer, the place we rented told us they no longer rent ot Brits, and they have had too many issues with noise and unpaid damage. Sad, but true- and back to the OP.
Oh yes, Russians, I agree. But this is not what the thread title is about, is it?
There’s anecdote, and there’s evidence.

This is an international survey, so it carries some weight.
Actually though, what I think Lanzarote is saying is that it wants to move away from being a party island for tourists, Brits are by far the biggest majority who visit there, but they won’t want rowdy holidaymakers from anywhere. It’s not about discriminating against the average British holidaymaker. It’s no different to what’s happening in Madeira, or for that matter Fuerteventura. As usual though, it’s been pumped up by the media into being an outrage on British sensibilities, I don’t know why some people here fall for it every time.
What do other countries offer the Brits abroad?
The Weather!
Lots of people just want a pretty much guaranteed sunny holiday. What they eat or do once there is secondary to that.

Brexit is certainly a part of the perception of Brits abroad, and a large part of the devaluation of Sterling which is causing real issues with buying any product from abroad, including holidays.

This has moved on from the OP by your constant othering of U.K. citizens which boils down to racism.
If this was about Muslims, Jews etc this thread would be taken down.

Are you British?

Oh no! I am the complete opposite - it is what there is to see, experience, learn and eat and is paramount, good weather is a bonus but definitely not the most important. Although we have been known to spend time on the beach but it has to have the other stuff on offer as well.
The thought of people partying hard at stag and hen dos, on my holiday fills me with horror. I’ve experienced it once, it was quite dreadful, language, bad manners and drunkenness😡😡😡.

Thank you Casdon- the yougov survey is quite clear, so it is not me saying it.
And of course, it was not me that posted the OP. What did you expect Urmstongran?

Ask them in Budapest, or Ibiza, or Ayanapa.
them
Which them?The locals, clearly.
My family home was on one of the Spanish Costas, my sister went all through school in Spain.
I will disagree with you all day long Fleurpepper youngsters of all nationalities party hard, I and my immediate family have seen this with our own eyes, I still have family there.

My DD has taught at language schools in Europe and she had to chase after the students during her supposedly free time (none British, obviously) because once away from home their behaviour was just dreadful. These were from what Fleurpepper might describe as 'the right kind of family' because they were well-off.

Yes I understand Whitewave that sunny weather is a bonus for you which is why I said ‘lots of people’ not ‘everyone’. Many people enjoy going for the cultural differences and experiences. Some holidaymakers just like sand, sea and sangria. All inclusive hotels often don’t help the local economy much, if at all.
Good job we are are different really. Life would be pretty boring if we were all the same.

^Yes, we're all drunk, disorderly and unspeakably noisy. Every single British person^
You speak for yourself Callistemon!! 😉😉

Nonsense, I've never said being well-off = the right kind of family. A friend who was running ski trips for UK schools and that I used for my students many times- always said our Comprehensive School kids were amazing, and that they behaved so much better than posh kids from top Private Schools.
I have read the survey, I nearly choked on my latte, Australian tourists are supposedly welcome everywhere, I assume they didn’t ask anyone from Bali 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I always pack my Kiss Me Quick hat. ‘T’ likes to add a bit of weight to his gut so that it hangs nicely over his Primarny shorts.

Still interested to know what you think is the right kind of tourist ?

put your prices up and you get 'natural selection'
A holiday package, at the end of the day, is just another commercial product' Makes sense to sell to those with a better currency and standards. Be it cars, medicines, etc, etc, etc, and holidays. If at the same time, you can up your game and attract another 'type' of tourist, and make everyones life more enjoyable, be it tourists or locals, win, win, win ...
One with more money? ie Better? The right type? Higher prices = natural selection?
That is what you have said, Fleurpepper and now you are back-tracking.
