The King has reportedly evicted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from Frogmore Cottage, their residence in Windsor. Buckingham Palace let the Duke and www.express.co.uk/news/royal/1740755/royal-family-meghan-markle-prince-harry-frogmore-cottage-king-charles of Susses know about the plan to take away the property from them just days after Harry's tell-all memoir, Spare, was published worldwide, it has been claimed.

Who on earth would pay to watch that load of drivel?

lemsip Sun 05-Mar-23 08:37:21

it's for money, that's why it isn't private!...costs £17 to watch.

^Why did Harry have to have a public interview with him?
Why not have private sessions?^

For money, attention and sympathy. Harry says he's not looking for sympathy but actually he is. He's extremely needy.

The little resumé on the BBC app sounds like he's really pushing it in terms of trying to garner sympathy and support. Don't all children go through phases of feeling disconnected from their family? Or is it just me and Harry?

nanna8 Sun 05-Mar-23 06:02:04

He has realised he has alienated most people so now he is playing for the sympathy vote and claiming mental problems. Then, if he is criticised, he can be righteously indignant and say we are picking on a disabled and disadvantaged person. Poor sausage.

WAAAAGH!

Joseanne Sat 04-Mar-23 23:56:16

No idea.
I only saw a few bits on the News this evening. Harry said something about being in a box (?).
Well I wish the lid would shut on him for good.

Why not have private sessions?
Private, that's a joke Callistemon.

Callistemon21 Sat 04-Mar-23 23:43:50

He is a doctor (I think) who has worked with drug addicts, people with mental health problems and deals in trauma and stress (possibly ).........
I'm sure someone will know more

Who's this latest player, enter stage right, who interviews Harry for an hour on screen and decides he has ADHD?
Give me strength!

It is reported in the Express that H&M have been offered apartments in Buckingham Palace or James's Palace for their (probably infrequent) visits to UK.

It sounds quite reasonable, if not generous to me.

^ Prince Harry has said he showers his children with affection to avoid passing on any "traumas" or "negative experiences" from his own upbringing^
He also showers his children with embarrassment by his behaviour.

Prince Harry has said he showers his children with.....

Only that bit showed on 'I'm On' so I was wondering if it was soap, non-allergenic shower gel or Sussex Totally Organic Kind-to-Skin shower gel.

Chardy . George Vth altered the Prince and Princess titles in 1917 with a Letters Patent, which limited the number of royal relatives that could use these titles. Great grandchildren in the male line would no longer be titled Prince or Princess which had previously been the case. You can read these letters on line which clarify the matter concerning other family members .

Jaberwok, that's interesting. I'm not a historian, more interested in family trees. Thanks.

Yes but .....
Archie and Lilibet are grandchildren of the monarch, are they not?

I think.
Sometimes reading Gransnet posts can cause confusion 😂

I must say I'm impressed by the people who have actually read Harry's book. The extracts I have read were so badly written (think Mills and Boone meets Enid Blyton) that they made my brain hurt. Heaven knows how the author won a Pulitzer prize.

Deedaa. .I agree with you, I had enough with the extracts in the papers and what was on the tv, besides I had to watch some paint dry....

SuzyG Sat 04-Mar-23 16:48:42

Deeda why not say what you mean? grin

This is a good ending Jaberwok! Let’s leave it there. We’ll know more come May.

Given that Dumbarton is a very socialist town I think most there are delighted he didn't want the title .

Jaberwok Sat 04-Mar-23 15:54:11

You're very welcome Chardy. Family trees are interesting, and can at times, be quite an eye opener, sometimes for good, but not always. Fascinating stuff though.

Maybe H & M should get Omid Scobie to talk to them before he talks to the media. He's the one who said they were upset as are two other members of the RF.

Great post @ 11.05 Jaberwok. Very informative, thank you.

Jaberwok Sat 04-Mar-23 14:57:08

Oh thank you Oreo. Lets just say that along with English Literature, History was and is my favorite subject. I've built up knowledge over the years by reading and researching, particularly royal history. It's fascinating, and so full of if, buts and maybe's , a bit like doing a jigsaw, getting the pieces in the right place, some easier than others. Did Richard 111rd murder the Princes? What if Bosworth had ended differently? What if the first Queen Elizabeth had had children?, the list is endless!

Oreo Sat 04-Mar-23 13:00:35

Jaberwok
I enjoy reading all your posts about history, you seem to know a lot and be genuinely interested in the subject.😃

Second rate ongoing soap about a highly privileged family. I switched off some time ago.

But here you are still posting about it, so it’s evidently not wasted.

Second rate? Meghan is a famous A list actress apparently.
