I'll come clean, I find him a loathsome individual and there should be a by-election asap.

ronib Andrew Brigden is a conspiracy theorist, putting forward all kinds of ideas and statements about the COVID vaccination for which he has no evidence and that can be, and have been refuted, by arguments based on scientific research and reliable statistics. His arguments are worthless and the less consideration they are given the better.

Golly -how do these people get selected to be a candidate for election? Reading about this man seems to have achieved something I would never have expected to happen: making me feel that my sycophantic useless MP is almost OK.

Andrew Bridgen likes to be in the limelight, I think, and doesn't know when to stop digging - IYSWIM.

The book MaizieD recommended‘How Westminster works…and why it doesn’t’ by Ian Dunt … covers the subject of non compliant MPs very clearly.
My husband seems to think that Andrew Bridgen is using data provided the government to make his argument but it is too much for me to understand. Probably for the rest of us too!

Just appalling. Where do the Tories get them from?

Let's face it, it's not just the Tories. But I won't start a list!

Some go into politics for altruistic reasons, others for many other reasons and some of them because they are bombastic attention-seekers.

I agree. Nutcases and crooks are out there across the whole political spectrum. Situations like this should automatically trigger a bye election.

Indeed. As asked above, what happened to his twin Mark Francois? Does anyone know?

He is still around, but possible feels that one total nutter running riot in the party at one time is quite sufficient, so he hunkering down and saying nothing.
