Just now

People will be judged by the company they keep.

Its not fair, but its true.

Don’t worry, volver. It’s yesterday’s news now.

Hilarious 😂

Volver3
How did the paps know that I would be in the park?
Maybe someone told them 🤔

maddyone Sat 20-May-23 10:49:02

I did not attack you volver. Not my way. I merely said it was a bit over the top. And it was.

volver3 Sat 20-May-23 10:46:50

Now, that's enough. (Not directed at Glorianny) Personal attacks from all sides, about me and how I post.

Well whatever your motivation is, it's not working.

You can all carry on feigning shock about how the papps operate, but we see you.

^They don’t want pictures of them smiling, they want pictures of them dead.^

A bit over the top volver. Maybe I’m being charitable but I don’t think anyone wants that, even the photographers.

I think they'd sell their mother if the money was enough (and their grandmother)

Glorianny Sat 20-May-23 10:39:29

The more I read about this the weirder it becomes. I assumed they went home by the taxi involved. It seems they didn't. They went home in a police convoy.
The taxidriver
Nevertheless, Mr. Singh said that the security guard riding in the front seat quickly grew concerned and asked to be taken back to the police station. There was not even time for the couple to give him the address to which they were headed. Sometime thereafter, the couple got home by police convoy without having their location discovered.

Photographers who were following them are seeking to sell their story to the highest bidder.

Oh another thought. Just curious, but I wonder who was looking after the children. Maybe they were with the friends whose place they were staying at.

maddyone Sat 20-May-23 10:34:52

Good grief, are we still talking about this?
I didn’t see any pictures except the one I put up for you all. They seemed to be in the back of a taxi. They weren’t wearing seatbelts which I find curious. Since my sister went through the windscreen of a car many, many years ago and ended up with over forty stitches in her face, I never travel without a seatbelt.
I liked her gold dress. I wish I had the figure to wear such a dress, but that ship sailed a long time ago.
Those are my thoughts on this event. I had more important events happening in my life yesterday.

texting even

Vanillasky Sat 20-May-23 10:25:17

Not really sure why Doria would need to call NYP when the bodyguard was sitting in the front of the cab with his earpiece in etc.

Anyway, Rishi gave a good answer when asked about the catastrophic chase, " This is not really my priority"!

Standard volver3 response when called out. So predictable grin

volver3 Sat 20-May-23 09:54:16

Ah forget it. You have no idea.

Rosie51 Sat 20-May-23 09:46:25

^Doria looking down, probably trying to text the police.
Meghan not looking like a madwoman.
Harry videoing for evidence.^

Really? Doria texting the police....... do people who feel in danger text the police? I thought in the USA you phone 911.
Given that Harry blames paps for his mother's death I can understand his love hate relationship with them. He needs them for publicity but hates their intrusion, perfectly understandable. The only person to survive the crash that killed his mother was the only person wearing a seatbelt in that car, so why on earth does he break the law and not wear a seatbelt? Surely he would ask his wife and mother-in-law to protect themselves by wearing seat belts, they're proved to save lives.

Love it merlotgran

Smileless2012 Sat 20-May-23 09:44:30

And do you remember the scramble over the last picture of Diana, dead or near death in the back of a car? which is precisely what this is all about isn't.

Trying to draw a parallel where there isn't one to maximise publicity and sympathy. This was not a high speed car chase and if they were in any danger, it would be because none of them were wearing seat belts.

Anniebach Sat 20-May-23 09:41:50

Harry didn’t seem to be ducking, he was taking photographs

25Avalon Sat 20-May-23 09:39:11

There is probably some truth in there but like all stories there is always some distortion especially from the press. It appears H&M didn’t want their destination revealed to protect the privacy of the friends they were staying with. Maybe they weren’t chased as such but Harry is paranoid about the press following the tragic death of his mother and this incident could easily have sparked a serious mental reaction. If you have ever been in a car crash you instinctively duck and flinch when back in a car and another comes towards you, for sometime afterwards. I doubt Meghan or mum experienced quite the same horror as Harry. Now they seem to be using the incident for publicity purpose.

Anniebach Sat 20-May-23 09:32:52

merlotgran thank you 😀

Surely they would have gone for a wee before they left the venue?

I know I would have.

And their bladders are younger than Charles' and Camilla's who endured even longer!

Really volver. What a horrible thing to say.

Really, you think this is the horrible thing on this thread? Have you read the rest of it?

And do you remember the scramble over the last picture of Diana, dead or near death in the back of a car?

But think about it. Whether you’re on here as a M&H defender, or condemner, or on here to criticise those who condemn or defend, whether you believe the media reports or you don’t, we’re all on here giving them publicity.
Do they want it?🤣🤣🤣

I agree that the thread is a load of rubbish, but so what!
I'm taking my evidence from the cab driver who said, "We got blocked by a garbage truck." 😂
