I was enjoying reading the take on the 'Great Chase' across Manhattan by all the posters. I was about to comment about 3 pages back but it had started to descend into a 'he said, she said, they said, everyone said, nobody said' type slanging match among posters. Fun in itself to observe. I will post my comment on H&M re seatbelts.
I seem to recall two instances:
One, where H had a hissy fit at M for travelling with Archie in a moving vehicle without a seat belt on or the child restrained in a car seat;
Two, when he (I think) was about to drive off and Archie told him to belt up or whatever the US equivalent is. I seem to remember H taking this to mean A knew what had happened to his paternal grandmother and didn't want it to happen to Dad.
Perhaps your memories are sharper than mine.
I do enjoy reading the threads/posts on GN although I rarely post, mainly because someone else has got there first with an observation. Never because I feel insulted by a post challenging my view. But then I earned my spurs in very tough London schools.
