Ed Davey says they can. Keir Starmer isn’t sure. Can women have a penis?

No babies are born with a formed penis and a formed vulva. A tiny percentage of babies are born with indeterminate genitalia. Nowadays advance testing methods allow the medics to know what sex the baby is, male or female.
I thought that is what I said. But honestly I really really have no inclination to get into conversation about this, as I think there is a lot of nonsense talked.
I read your So the fact is that a tiny minority of babies are born with both genitalia intact (my bold on both) to mean you thought a baby could be born with an intact penis and an intact vulva, which is clearly wrong. That a tiny percentage of babies are born with ambiguous genitalia that can't be accurately classified as a penis or a vulva by sight is not questioned.
I agree there is a lot of nonsense talked e.g that trans identified males are exactly the same as females, and should be allowed in any female space. Utter tosh.
"Can a man have a vagina?" Somehow amongst trans men, there seems to be very few contentious issues. Trans men don't really present a problem as far as men only spaces are concerned, possibly because men don't regard them as a threat or a danger, well unless you're a certain mail journalist with The Guardian that is, and were put in the unfortunate position of having a trans man demonstrating their attraction to you,! Although needless to say if lesbians don't fancy a trans woman, in voicing that they are behaving in a discriminatory way. As far as I'm aware I haven't heard of any transmen wanting to enter men only sporting events, I wonder why that is? Could it have something to do with the fact that they would surely know they wouldn't have a cat's chance in hell of beating a natal man
All in all, amongst their number, they don't seem to have a vociferous minority hell bent on imposing what they want on the greater male population. Funny that!

WWm2 'So the fact is that a female can have a penis. I don’t know what all the fuss is about tbh.'
it is amazing that so many here, and elsewhere, are obsessed with this ?!?
Too sensible for GN Fleurpepper.
If someone with a constructed penis isn't a man what is this person? www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-10774253/Man-regrew-penis-ARM-six-years-finally-reattached-correct-place.html
It is a huge obsession and I struggle to understand it too
Primarily focused on trans women by women
I wish we could make the focus more on inclusivity and ensuring everyone has their rights respected and their needs met, rather than the constant looking for reasons to other a whole minority group

He was born a man with XY chromosomes, he is still a man with XY chromosomes.
Totally irrelevant to this thread.

I mean, I don't get it. I am a woman, always knew and never had any doubt. Fine. But I have several friends who are different- I don't get it- but I am their friend, and I respect them, and I respect their choice. Why isit any business of mine to say things like GG13 above. Why?
My nephew is now my niece, full reversal, his penis became her vagina, and you would never ever know. It is fully functional, and has a fully orgasmic relationship with her husband. Another did the full reversal later, and it is quite obvious, big hands and feet, and her voice betrays her too. She has many friends, and she also has had horrible people calling her names, and pervert- and she has suffered a lot. Why?
Why this obsession. Neither of them has ever done any harm to anyone, and are kind, generous, and wonderful people. Why should you care about their chromosomes GG13? Why?
It's just bizare- and to be honest, sounds all a bit perverse, in a weird sort of way.
Also what I don't understand with gender dysphoria and the current view of the medical community that transitioning to some degree is the cure....
Why there is the constant need to shout about "facts"
Many people have facts imposed upon them like illness, disability, bereavement, mental health struggles etc
Imagine if they couldn't walk down the street or visit social media without coming across a bunch of people shouting about the facts of their situation with no empathy, no understanding and no effort at inclusion...
When we start to pick and choose which humans we have empathy and understanding for... There is a problem and it is not a "them" problem
So no worries then, if you, a lone woman, or maybe your daughter or even granddaughter happen to be alone in a changing room in a state of undress. I'm in one at least once a week, it does focus the mind on the potential of how a scenario could play out. In walks, to all intents and purposes a woman, but with a man's body. Riley Gains, female American swimmer had to share a changing room with Leah Thomas whose penis was often exposed to her and her team mates sometimes in a state of arousal. Nice for an adolescent girl? When my son takes my granddaughter swimming, she goes into the women's changing room alone, he has no idea whose in there with her.
I'm so sorry Fleur that's so heartbreaking
Just complaints, absolutely no solution based inclusive thinking
Why I give up on these threads
Well no, Terri- the women I am talking about have no penis, let alone in a state of arousal. And they are no risk to anyone- and the kindest, gentlest of women. They wanted to be women partly for this reason, because they did not want to be associated with the violence of men, sadly.

Yes Ok accept that Fleurpepper, I'm talking about a transwoman who still has male genitalia

We were at a Fete, and we had invited friends to join us. She went to the femal toilet, of course, as a female. Our friend (EX friend) went in, and started screaming that there was a pervert in the toilet. Our trans friend came out and was in tears, and we felt so upset for her. We explained to the people we had invited who she was, and she replied 'well he shouldn't be int he female toilets then'. We tried to explain again and offered to introduce them to her- but they said they didn't want to speak to a pervert. We told them how we felt about their attitude towards a very kind friend, and left them. Never met them again.

Yes. 100%, unqualified, wholehearted yes. I love and respect my trans sisters, and their genitalia is as female as mine is.
Really. 🤦
If being 'normal' is being intolerant and have no empathy or understanding, for the suffering of others- then I am more and more glad I often feel like I live in a parallel universe apart from many in my generation, and this especially on GN. I have worked all my life with tolerant and emotionally intelligent people, thank goodness.
Give me kind, generous, caring 'abnormal' people any day, please.

There are a few situations where your sex really matters, sports, changing rooms, hospital wards, prisons. In other words where women would be in a state of undress or vulnerable. I'd also add in awards and scholarships etc intended for females to try and balance an inequality. When trans identifying men enter these spaces, or take these awards women lose out yet again.
Well put Rosie51.
Can females have a penis?
Can males have a vagina?
No, whatever they call themselves.
Fleurpepper
Yes!
And always remember, when people don't like you, take joy in being as annoyingly yourself as possible
VioletSky
Why? Do you want one? Go for it
Where can I get one VS?
Fleurpepper you say your nephew became your niece and has undergone the full surgical procedure to invert the penis internally. You are aware surely that the vast majority of transwomen, especially in the UK, do not undergo surgery and retain their functioning penis? Some even sport beards, like Alex Drummond, the Welsh 'lesbian' psychotherapist who won't even take hormones. Alex should be allowed anywhere that females go because Alex says they are "broadening the bandwidth of being a woman"
I never felt the need to tell anyone, not even my mother, that I have a fully orgasmic relationship with my husband, I would have thought that was a private matter.
you can buy almost anything online.
i believe.
The person in your link Glorrianny is a man. He has always been a man because he has the correct chromosomes to denote maleness. He has never been anything other than male since the day he was born. He was unfortunate enough to suffer a serious illness which robbed him of his penis. This happens sometimes eg cancer of the penis or indeed, cancer of the vagina which means a woman has her vagina removed. These people remain male or female as they always were and it is cruel to question their sex. They have not changed sex, they have been ill in their sex organs.
'I never felt the need to tell anyone, not even my mother, that I have a fully orgasmic relationship with my husband, I would have thought that was a private matter.'
yes, in most circumstances, and for our generation. In this case, as I get on really well with my niece, and she gets on really well with her cousins- she was very happy to say that 'everything works' with a wink. She has a GSOH.
