No,there isn't any law that stops you making money out of trashing your family or even out of your dead motber whom you were apparently devoted to, but it is a pretty low down disgusting way to earn a living even if you are too dim to get a decent job and lead a decent life. You'd have to have a pretty low opinion of yourself, not much to be proud of there to tell the children/grandchildren.

The princess from Japan is one such person, but apparently there are others. Harry hasn’t had to give up his place in the line of succession (although I suspect the normally non revolutionary British people might revolt if he was ever to become king) nor have his children. They haven’t given up their titles either, in fact they’ve claimed them for their children, although the title of prince or princess seems pretty unnecessary in America.

I’ve had enough of Harry with his constant whinging. There are about three members of his fan club left on Gransnet, but most of the rest of the world seem pretty fed up of him too. I imagine Chelsey Davey is very fed up with him after last week (not much respect for her privacy there was there?) It seems that Harry, contrary to his claims, loves the limelight, relishes the limelight, and finds it difficult to survive without limelight. Probably because basically, he suffers from sibling rivalry and jealousy of his brother, along with a massive sense of entitlement. There’s probably not going to be a happy ending to all this any time soon.

How much more dignified and admirable has been the conduct of Katherine Duchess of Kent who years ago decided to opt out of representing the RF, and has lived a quiet unassuming life, teaching music and other low key activities while coping with private domestic problems including mental health. The late Queen apparently begged her and the Duke not to divorce which they haven't . Not a breath of scandal from either of them, no salacious spiteful gossip embarrassing the RF, in fact Harry could learn a thing or two from this delightful lady, or perhaps he passed praying for.

maddyone please could you stop posting inaccuracies about the Japanese RF. The princess was not and could not be the heir to the Japanese RF as it can only pass through the male line. Nor is she working for a living. She was working on a voluntary basis for the Met. Presumably she is still has her own money.

As I said previously, if he has MH problems (as you have diagnosed) then he has been in the very best position to seek help, he has wealth, he has contacts, he helped set up a foundation to help others.

He does not have to go on a NHS waiting list like so many who are suffering far worse than him; he came through a war zone with limbs intact, unlike some of his comrades who just get on with their lives now. He seems unscathed and rather proud of those experiences.

I used to feel rather sorry for him but no longer.

Charles was 46 when he trashed his parents. Harry is 38.
So the age comparison is actually in Harry's favour.

It's the second time. I remember because I have an interest in Japan and wondered about the succession in such a patriarchal society.
She did not give up her title voluntarily. She had to when she married a commoner. Men don't have to.
She did give up her lump sum but she has had annual allowances .

As I remember it was the subject of much discussion because Harry wanted to pay for protection in the UK .

He's just become an associate after spending 2 years as a legal assistant. Not a top job. He was widely seen in Japan as a fortune hunter. He took the New York bar exam 3 times. And she is loaded.
