As Lathyrus says, Workers in the organisation that have tried “whistleblowing” on what was happening report bullying, intimidation and dismissal.

Yes they banned a game featuring inspirational women but not transwomen so it didn't align with their values. I think JKR was the icing on the cake for them. When you say you've banned JKR from your house do you mean the actual person or just her books? Rather dictatorial and bigoted in my view.

No, Of course banning a game isn’t worse than than intimidating and sexually exploiting women in disaster struck countries. Forcing them to trade their bodies for food to feed their children.

I do wonder what would need to be bad enough for supporters to feel they could no longer align themselves with Oxfam?

Now charities too

I had removed Oxfam from my donations list long before the Charities Commission produced their damning report into the Haiti sex scandal in 2018. This recent debacle just proves yet again how seriously out of touch Oxfam are with the public mood on so many issues, and how they have lost focus on what they were founded to achieve. How can demonising people such as JKR serve any charitable purpose on any level? And how can the agenda they have embraced possibly serve female rights?

I sincerely hope that any organisation that condoned the sexual bullying and harassment of vulnerable women as an accepted part of Aid Work will be annihilated.

Most volunteers who work in Oxfam shops probably do so because they want to help others, not for any specific loyalty to the organisation itself.
Their skills will be transferable and welcome in other organisations.

Actually, VS’s posts would have been the biggest impetus for me to drop OXFAM if I hadn’t already done so, from the casual “I bought a dress??, to the wrongly implied ‘nobody likes trans except me’.
Has Amazon or BP or British Gas claimed to support people dying starvation?
Have any of those companies said trans rights override the rights of females? Have any of them denied females their right to safe spaces?
Have any of them attacked or threatened females the way TRA do?
Does trans-inclusive, in your world VS, mean they do any of those things?

Shame you can’t answer those questions . . . again.
Although at least one of those companies, doesn’t deny females the right to safe spaces. It’s part of their inclusivity.

But have any of the organisations on your list shared such a cruel cartoon, demonising a woman who uses her fame and fortune to support vulnerable women VS, and despite the threats made against her is still brave enough to stand up for all women? No I didn't think so.

Well I suspect VioletSky wouldn't. She wouldn't boycott Oxfam after its representatives sexually abused poor women of colour in other countries.
I don't use at least 6 or 7 of those companies anyway, nothing to do with if they really believe TWAW.

I don’t agree with the premise that support for one minority negates the ill treatment of other vulnerable groups.

Abuse is abuse regardless of the positive treatment of some others. It is not more acceptable because some good is done in other areas

We are not silencing anyone. OXFAM are silencing women who don't accept that trans women are biological women.

It's a right to boycott. But at least we're not standing outside OXFAM outlets with placards demanding violent retribution against anyone who doesn't agree with us.

There's being trans inclusive, and there is being female exclusive, and anyone who bans a game because it is about women falls into the latter category.

I don't care about trans inclusivity - in fact I am in favour of it - but I draw the line at anything that puts trans rights over women's rights, as that is anti-feminist.
