Just saw that Boris’ dog walker, and hairdresser have received honours.

Maybe the dog Walker, but hairdresser! What hairdresser?

I see Peter Bone hasn’t got anything. He has always been a great supporter of Johnson. I always get him mixed up with Christopher Chope who is a Sir and I’ve always felt he must be envious of him. I would imagine that everything that Johnson has handed out has been with a view to in what way those people will be useful to him in the future.

Just heard a conservative commentator on the radio saying he 100% supported Keir Starmer wishing to abolish the House of Lords. Surely this cronyism of. dishing out peerages to nonentities based not on their service to the public, but their service to a disgraced former prime minister brings the whole archaic system into disrepute. I may agree with giving out MBEs to lollipop ladies and the like, but this honours list is scandalous and should be rescinded.

Not sure about abolishing the House Of Lords but the numbers are stupidly high in it, a start would be reducing it by half to around 400.

All of the honours lists seem pretty pathetic to me. There only seem to be a few on any list who are worthy.

Disgraceful. Some of those awarded organised the Downing Street lockdown parties. Johnson should be brought to the Commons and made to apologise. And a K for the Mogg is a joke.

I think Johnson was taking the p* with this dishonourable list...
