Just that.

We now have almost the worst outcomes for heart, cancer and strokes amongst the rich nations.

10 years ago we were top and so proud of our NHS.

Kings Fund - say it is down to funding cuts.

They have Norah. Over the course of centuries not a lot has changed - but the current government must be blamed even though it is not responsible for privatisation.

We have two Boots branches in the centre of our County Town (Chelmsford) they are within a five minute stroll of each other.
Totally understandable if they close one of them.

In the next village to me there are two independent pharmacies which between them are open seven days a week from 8am until 10pm. There is also a rather nondescript Boots, I imagine that will close as it’s rarely busy and the stock levels have been appalling since way before Covid.

As I understand it, the majority of the Boots stores that are closing are within a short distance of another Boots store. We have a couple here in Bristol that are only a few minutes walk away from each other.
