Why agree with something that has already been explained to you! How would YOU process a person with no ID, no papers, no passport, who you know absolutely nothing about. You don’t know their age, their nationality, whether they have a criminal background, whether they have any diseases, etc etc. Where would YOU start?

Leaving the EU has caused a much greater problem with identification than the UK had previously, as the Home Office staff no longer have access to the Eurodac database. That captures the fingerprints, identity and originating country of any asylum seeker in all EU countries plus three other European countries, but not the UK. Cutting our noses off to spite our faces.

Unfortunately some men arriving on boats are from cultures which consider white women are whores and have no respect for us. Note I said some, not all. And of course such people don’t always arrive on boats and some were born here to parents from such cultures.

When you lose your mobile you tend to go to the police station to report it/see if it’s been handed in don’t you? Well I do. Not rubbish at all. You may not like it, but it happened. And oddly enough my decorator had previously told me he had had exactly the same experience. I have no reason to doubt him, nor do you have reason to me.

Quite right gsm. Nigh on impossible to process I’d say. By destroying all their paperwork and passports they could quite literally be anybody and that is very worrying. Some of them claim to be doctors etc but we have no proof of that.

There are interpreters .
I think that sometimes people forget that some of these asylum seekers are well educated ,were in white collar posts and do speak English as well as other languages.

What stupid government thought it was a good idea to not process asylum seekers applications for over five years, forcing the only solution of housing a backlog over 70,000 of them in hotels in seaside towns I wonder?

They already do that Glorianny. Plenty of boats land on deserted beaches and the people are frequently found wandering around by the police.

This ludicrous idea that if you send a few people off to Rwanda then the boats will stop coming has to be challenged. Of course they wouldn't. The boats would come at times when they would be unlikely to be seen (at night), they would land on out of the way beaches, and the people they carried, instead of becoming part of the UK asylum process would become the puppets of gangmasters and criminals, to be trafficked, traded and exploited.

Safe routes are only available to asylum seekers from specific countries and even then may only be to some who fit a certain criteria.

Beyond that I'm afraid I have nothing to say in response to xenophobic rants. We've been over this topic time and time again on Gnet, haters will go on hating no matter what evidence is presented.
