I was in London last week and appalled at the amount of litter on the streets. They need to get their priorities right and spend money on cleaning the streets. Most of which was from junk food wrappings and soft drinks bottles and cans.

Actually, for once, I wouldn’t blame the government any government.
The litter on the pavements isn’t down to the fast food shops, although refuse from them is what we often see.
It’s down to the dirty people who can’t be bothered to find a bin to put their rubbish in, or if the bins are full, to take it home with them.
I can and will argue that our local council don’t empty the bins on the seafront or the town centre often enough, but the litter on the pavement isn’t down to them. It’s down to the people who drop it.

Where is the "head in hands" icon when you need it?

Has anyone else read the TfL policies for printed materials?

Re this poster it falls into an image category that is inadvertently promoting something high in fats sugars etc . There is lots of info about the type of advertising materials accepted. I don't know why the team didn't read them!

It is for the advertiser to demonstrate (in case of any doubt) that any product is not HFSS, and/or that an advertisement is not promoting HFSS products, and/or that there are exceptional grounds.

They have a whole set of guidelines about this (including inadvertently promoting) and also an appeals form.
Did they even appeal?
Who knows.

If I can find it all easily enough - presumably someone in advertising and marketing can!
Surely nobody would take on a design contract without wanting to see the Ts&Cs?

MaizieD there is a whole section about advertising food products on TfL.
Your daughter might be interested.
