If someone had done it to my DD's at that age I would have been outraged.
There again I'm northern and don't like kissing of any kind full stop. My dad only kissed my mum in public on New Years Eve.
When I was first married and had to socialise with DH our neighbour used to take great delight in telling people that Dh's wife didn't kiss she preferred a hand shake.

All those footballers grabbing their bits just like little boys do. Totally unaware they’re doing it of course.

It was inappropriate for a powerful man to grab a woman and kiss her on the lips without her consent, excitement of the moment or not.

Well the footbal player in question has said she _did not_consent to him kissing her on the mouth and the whole
team have said they will refuse to play until he goes

I'd normally be in the 'string him up' camp, but all I saw was over exuberance with the crotch incident, and sheer joy with the kiss on the lips. And yes, I actually do believe he would have done the same with a male player.
I'm really shocked that she is talking about taking him to court..... it was a spur of the moment, joyful smacker- nothing sexual about it at all.
