The Jewish people interviewed on Sky News tonight that were marching today were saying how appalled they were by what the Israeli government were doing to the Palestinians.
I can't find that

It’s being reported that Hamas has launched 400 plus rockets into Israel along with its men shooting Israeli civilians in the streets.
Israel has retaliated with extreme force, are we heading for yet another all out war in the Middle East?
I was scrolling X (Twitter) and found the most appalling video posted by Hamas showing a dead Israeli women, stripped naked and being driven around whilst her body is being abused.
I do not think I can ever remove those images from my brain, yet again women being abused/defiled by men as an act of war.

Did they also say that they were happy to march alongside people chanting for the destruction of all Jews on the planet.

Many on the March in London today were Jews from many different factions. They are against Netanyahu's extreme right policies, his apparent choice to ignore very clear intelligence- and his support of more and more illegal expansion. Those Jews know that it is his policies and bombing of innocent civilians told to flle that is putting them at huge risk.
Really Fleurpepper ?
I didn’t see any Jewish/Israeli flags
I assume you have seen the footage, seen the black flags with Jihadi slogans, the Hamas flags? There are many unsubstantiated comments on this thread.
Yes there are and most of them are posted by Fleurpepper
You can say that again, MerylStreep

And you know this, how?
As MayBee said, all evident from interviews shown on TV news.
Many soldiers came fowards 8 years ago, saying that the Israeli Army orders from up High is shoot to kill, all you come across. Many Jews in Israel are very aware of this, and that it was also said at the time that 'the next time' would be even more brutal.
Some of you are in total denial of what Netanyahu and his Government are about and how huge numbers of Israelis are so angry that his extreme policies are putting them all at huge risk.
Yeah we are in denial. Did you see the paraglider motifs. You didn't answer. Oh and have you seen the reports from Germany.
Your ignorance is showing, flower

I have, there are stars being painted on homes where Jewish people live.
I fear for my Jewish friends

I would hazard a guess that it’s the threat from Hamas that’s putting them at huge risk.
It is being reported that Egypt has opened its borders for foreign nationals from Gaza, but Hamas is preventing them from leaving.
Hamas are terrorists, they are using innocent civilians as human shields.
As for Israeli strikes on the escape route roads there are multiple sources suggesting that Hamas had booby trapped the escape routes.
Obviously this needs verifying.
Basically who do you believe - an elected Government or a terrorist organisation?
Apparently Israel is investigating the attack on the lorry carrying fleeing Palestinians.

I saw this too. So much is being suggested and all of us here don’t really know what is true or false. Personally I wouldn’t believe a single word coming out of the mouth of a terrorist. Hamas are terrorists.
I’m disgusted by the protesters in London and other cities. The words they’re singing are reminiscent of Nazi times in Germany, Poland, and other European countries in the 1930s.
Fleurpepper is right Israeli brutal occupation and apartheid
People believe what they want to believe Grany.
Freedom fighters or terrorists ? Depends on who is judging.
Nelson Mandela is a good example
Grany what is your opinion on Hamas and their grotesque murder of innocents in the kibbutz?
The anti-semitism so freely expressed on this thread is heart-breaking. Of course it's equally awful the innocent Palestine lives lost. To equate Hamas with Nelson Mandela is the stretchiest of stretches!!
It is incumbent on us I think not to throw around accusations that someone is anti-Semitic when in fact what they are doing is criticising the Israeli government.
I am critical of Netanyahu and what he stands for. I think that he is a thug, corrupt and someone who holds onto power through nefarious means.
I weep for the ordinary Israeli and Palestinian caught up in this appalling war, who are so poorly served by their leaders, and being used as pawns in these barbaric acts.
The Middle East is the exception throughout the world in so far as it breeds religious fanaticism beyond anything our imagination can understand, and Hamas is just one more of these fanatical groups.
As far as I am concerned, they, like so many before them are beyond the pale and need to be dealt with just as we have dealt with ISIS and Al Qaida.
The sad thing is that historically, the Muslim population in any country has always been very tolerant of other religions, far more so than other religions like Christianity or Jewish.
All those people want, is what all of us want. A chance for a family life, or profession that can be lived in ordinariness day to day peace and harmony, where their children can thrive safe from violence.
I’m Jewish and I am scared.
I’m 61 years old and have only experienced antisemitism twice, once when I was about 12 and again when I was about 20, when some people made ‘careless’ remarks to me.
This however feels different. I am glad my girls aren’t at their Jewish primary school anymore learning how to hide from some crazed person who wants to harm them, should they manage to get past the security guard who is wearing a bullet proof vest.
Upthread someone mentioned unconscious bias. I think that’s a very good term to use for some of the posts on this thread.
My family were worried the other day when we heard that Jewish people could potentially have been targeted for attack on Friday 13th. We don’t know if that was just a rumour or not. But we were very worried for our 86 year old mum who lives on her own and has a mezuzah on her door which indicates that she is Jewish. Should we take the mezuzah off? Would the mark it left indicate something had been there in the first place? These are the kind of thoughts that go round in our heads. This may be an over reaction, but who knows?
This is in England in 2023. I never thought I would be scared to be Jewish. And we used to say never again. But here we are.
I've not noticed any anti semitism on this thread just anti Israeli comments. That's the Israeli government I mean not all Jewish people.
Just because some people post things others don't like doesn't necessarily make them untrue. This is a horrible situation all round. Next steps are crucial to get right but I fear they might only make things worse.
There have been a number of posts deleted for antisemitism so thankfully MN disagree with you.
It would be fascinating if in the future I used those sane phrases with a different demographic and watched how people reacted. I wont do that of course but it's been fascinating to watch.

When someone in this country can write that they are frightened because of their religious faith, this is why we have the rule of law and the Human Rights Act.
This is what protects us all.
It is vital that we understand that, particularly in this age of populist hate and division.
