The pupil in question was suspended from the school for 5 days last year for, allegedly, threatening to stab another pupil.
Court documents referred to a behaviour record for the pupil, which stated, "........was speaking negatively about the school and her plans to 'destroy' it and said it would involve fewer pupils than last time".
Perhaps a prayer room is required to pray for forgiveness !
Threatening to stab another pupil is a police matter. I'm surprised the pupil wasn't permanently excluded at that stage.
If the pupil deliberately whipped up a religious conflict to threaten the school, Birbalsingh should have said so rather than introducing all the other deflectors from the main issue.
It would be serious bullying by the pupil. All schools experience that kind of thing at some stage and have to deal with it. If that's what has happened, it's been mismanaged.
