Anybody who doesn’t think the violence, land grab and genocide isn’t recruiting for ideologies like Hamas needs to give their head a wobble.

These ideologies will never die as long as Israel denies Palestinian their sovereignty in its fullest sense and refuses to withdraw illegal settlers from the West Bank.

But that is not a justification for killing innocent people, it is, however, an effective way of ensuring more recruits for Hamas so they can continue killing Israeli Jews. It is not bringing home hostages either. Violence will not bring peace to Israel and it has the potential to cause more violence if Hezbollah become even more aggressive. If you think the fighters in Hamas are cowards you have completely misunderstood them, they do not fear death and that makes them very effective killing machines! They also have nothing to lose that makes them desperate and dangerous.

Well I read the New Yorker article. I think it has the whole thing the wrong way round. Hamas is not necessarily winning the propaganda war,rather Israel is losing it. And how could they not be? People will not accept the indiscriminate bombing and the starvation they are subjecting Palestinians to.

If you believe "israel are doing their best to limit casualties" then quite frankly you need help.They are wiping out all in their path and doing it with great glee.There can be NO justification for this massacre ,moving people from one place after destroying their homes and killing their neighbours and families is the norm for Israel ..its what they've been doing for decades.IF the international community had dealt with this a long time ago they wouldn't have a situation where Israel feels they are untouchable .

Of course children are innocent but there are also many Palestinian men and women who are innocent. I think what I find very disturbing is the willingness to see any adult Palestinian as either a member of Hamas or a supporter of Hamas. Just as Daniella Weiss is not representative of many Israelis, the reason Netanyahu is still in power was because enough Israelis voted for very right wing people in 2022. The last election in Palestine was 2006 and Gazans didn't vote for "Hamas" they voted for candidates in a party called Reform and Change. There is still distance between the political wing of Hamas and the terrorist wing, the former did not necessarily know about or sanction the attack on 7/10. The people of Gaza are no more supporters of Hamas than Israeli Jews support the likes of Weiss, Smotrich and Ben Gvir.

I'll ask the question I always ask. How can the hostages "be released" in the chaos and how does anyone know that they are alive and not amongst the dead lying rotting on roads that cannot be reached safely.
