I assume the USA knows what it is doing supporting Israel in its bombardment of the Iranian embassy in Syria.

I note with alarm that Iran is holding sea exercises in the gulf of Oman with Russia and China😬

For now Netanyahu relies on fight wing support, when the war is won and Israel has control over Gaza there will be an election, the result of that will depend on whether Netanyahu is seen as a conquering hero or a pariah.
It’s not us that vote, it’s all of Israel, personally I hope he goes and a fresh start with a moderate government, but I’m not betting money on it.

11 people have been arrested. But watching the video it does seem extraordinary that there is no one even attempting to stop them. Two people outside with fire extinguishers spraying red paint and one inside. All being filmed and clearly identifiable. They are from a group called Youth Demands

I would hope for a moderate government in Israel too Katie, but I wouldn’t bet on it either.

Interestingly there is apparently a growing Hasidic/ultra orthodox community in Israel, and they are extremely conservative. However apparently there has been some disquiet about the fact that their young people are allowed to avoid conscription, whereas all other young people in Israel are subject to national service. I think it’s because they go to the yeshiva and study. The adults don’t have jobs either. There have been many deaths of Israeli soldiers and people are not happy that this group is allowed to avoid the conscription that others cannot avoid.

This was not a demonstration against Jews this was a protest about the Labour party's refusal to support the campaign to ban arms sales to Israel. Something which makes this country complicit in war crimes. There is no connection with any Jews.

Not all Israelis support Netanyahu.
Not all Jews support Netanyahu.
Some Jews actively campaign against this war and Israel's actions.
Claiming action in support of Palestinians is in any way connected with Jewish people is in fact a form of anti-semitism. It is assuming the views of all Jews are the same- which of course they are not.

You've supported a post saying Jews should be filled with fear because of this protest.
You claim there is a connection with Jews.
What is it? This protest is about this country not having a credible and active opposition which protests about the supply of armaments and complicity in a war crime. It is nothing to do with Jews.

It doesn't matter who supports who, the facts are Netanyahu has a majority in parliament and will continue the war in Gaza until it is won.
What ever your opinion of Jews he certainly has the support of the extreme religious parties and a majority or the others in the Knesset

Not all Jews support Israel or believe in the State of Israel.
But as I said this protest was about the lack of a proper opposition party in the UK which would condemn this country's supply of arms to a country involved in war crimes. It was a wake up call for the Labour Party.

If there is a temporary halt to cleaning out the Rafah sewers perhaps the IDF and Mossad could turn their attention to the four Hamas billionaires (stolen aid money) living in luxury large villas on the Corneiche in Doha. Sooner or later they will get them.

And I do wonder where we would be now if the rest of the world had threatened to withdraw support unless we stopped killing German citizens?

War is a bloody and tragic business and sadly civilian casualties are inevitable but Hamas knew that when they set out to attack Israel.

Perhaps you didn't notice but the Germans had invaded and occupied many countries in Europe and elsewhere. They were not a country controlled and occupied by a foreign power. Their armies had killed and slaughtered thousands all over the world. Palestine by contrast is a small country with no military forces, which has been occupied and controlled by another country for over 50 years. It's people are refugees driven from their homes time after time. Not surprisingly many countries are saying "Enough is enough"

I have read the Financial Times article mentioned and want to draw reader attention to parts of it:

And where are they supposed to go?

However, a person briefed on the talks said that while some progress had been made in the latest talks, key sticking points remained,
with Israel rejecting Hamas’s demands that civilians be allowed to return to the north of Gaza.

So where should the 1 million Palestinian civilians go?

Rafah is as far south as you can gt in Gaza which means to me that a bid is being made to permanently annex/occupy the whole of Gaza. In order to satisfy the far right of the Israeli government.

Re:spraying of Party HQ. the group involved said

This is a small extreme group and the Labour Party is quite right not to comment.

I should add, that I do not personally support the UK selling arms to anyone!

We hear a lot of Hamas propaganda that most believe without question here is some Israeli propaganda, it’s been confirmed by many other sources. It puts into perspective just how powerful Hamas is, how it manipulates the aid going into Gaza and undermined Fateh in Gaza and the West Bank
