Just saw this on News at Ten and it clearly is NOT Kate or William. The woman is nothing like Kate and William is not as heavy as the man in the photo.

However the Sun reckons it is them, so do News at Ten. 🤣🤣

FAKE News!

Am I the only one thinking this is getting silly now?

What will the poor woman need to do to stop all the intrusive speculation - have a DNA test? I suspect that even then some folks will think it’s been fixed!

No, you're not the only one.

We're going to a farm shop tomorrow, I'll keep a look-out.

I doubt the RF would have anything to do with looky likeys, but the tabloid press? And they attribute it to a member of the public to avoid repercussions.
Anything to sell copy and all of them are strangers to the truth.

Yes, that is probably it.

Two different people in my opinion.

Different chin.

The still photo in the Mail Catherine looks like the woman next door but in the video it is them for sure

I totally agree with you, with all that’s going on in the world and we’ve got all this speculation about Kate 🤨

I agree. Its no-one's business.

I shall now state the obvious, this is the Princess and Prince of Wales local shop they are known to the staff.

The shop staff would surely have blown the whistle if they were indeed dopplegangers

25Avalon Tue 19-Mar-24 10:10:37

If it is then they surely must have known that whilst shop employees could be relied on to keep quiet, they would be seen by members of the public who would not keep quiet.

I don't know if it is her, I don't care if it is her. Much as I dislike the RF I do think it might be nice to leave the poor woman in peace for a bit. If she was in normal employment and recovering her health her employer would have to stay away from her and not hassle her. I think in this case the public should regard themselves as her employer and leave her alone.

Quite! Those people sitting around never batted an eyelid as they walked past.

If you are as wealthy as them, honestly, would you bother going down to the farm shop to buy your bread and veggies when you have staff to do that? If Kate felt she needed fresh air they have acres of land to enjoy a walk away from prying eyes. They’ve always said she would not appear in public until after Easter anyway.

Well, yes you would if you’d been stuck at home for over two months, you’d be desperate to go for a little stroll around a shop. I would anyway.

Primrose53 Tue 19-Mar-24 10:54:17

Casdon What? 😱 you would rather go out and buy a cabbage and a few King Edwards😝 than take a stroll around one of your vast country estates in complete privacy?

She could even be taken for a drive in a carriage or pony and trap around the parkland.

Louella12 Tue 19-Mar-24 10:56:05

I'm surprised people find it odd she'd go to the farm shop. A welcome bit of normality for her.

Also I'm not surprised at the apparent lack of interest in them. The majority of us are polite and no doubt a bit of nudging elbows was going on but not many would confront them.

I certainly wouldn't.

HelterSkelter1 Tue 19-Mar-24 11:09:50

Did she queue to pay?? Surely there must have been a GN there that morning to put us out of our misery???

And could they have risked a member of Joe Public ringing the tabloids to tip them off for a fee.

Would her PR team adviise it was a sensible move as she is staying out of the limelight till after Easter. This thread is nothing to do with her illness or recovery or really her at all. The question is it just Fake News

Louella12 Tue 19-Mar-24 11:12:42

It's really not fake news.

Social media will be the death of us.

Kate1949 Tue 19-Mar-24 11:14:10

I've just seen the video on TV. In my opinion it's definitely Catherine.

If I’d been recuperating by taking walks round my vast country estates for over two months, yes, I would. I think you’d find farm shops sell more than cabbages and potatoes, at least where I live they do!

HelterSkelter1 Tue 19-Mar-24 11:15:48

And xhould we all apply some critical thinking

OldFrill Tue 19-Mar-24 11:58:05

I assume they staged the event themselves. I suspect there will be more photos coming out whilst she eases herself back into the limelight.
