I still don't quite understand what she is determined to save the West from....
From Rifkind's piece:
complaining pricelessly that “part of the problem we faced was a distinct shortage of expert voices supporting our agenda”.
I can understand why she feels sore on this point. After all there was a distinct shortage of expert economists supporting the Leave campaign but it didn't stop us getting Brexit...
I still don't quite understand what she is determined to save the West from....
Well, possibly from people like you MaizieD 🤣🤣
In fact, that's a good question - I hope that, during any forthcoming interviews, she is asked it.
I have watched and listened to her speeches, as one does, and find that after some minutes I'm totally distracted from what she is actually saying by her style of delivery which, to me, appears so rehearsed.
If you watch her speeches during her early years she performs - as someone noted in the comments under one of her videos - like a child learning to read. Every time she finishes a statement she’s automatically looking for praise. A methodology that hasn't changed as she's matured. And her voice has that slightly high grating tone to it that sets my teeth on edge.
The opening up of the pork markets in Beijing bit still makes me cringe - mostly because of the contrast between her triumphant self-congratulation and the lack-lustre response from the audience.
I'm not surprised she's endorsing Trump, both of them see themselves as liberators against a fabricated body of government agencies who are allegedly manipulating and controlling government policies... Lefties to a man!
