I am not a member of said party, so I don't really care exactly what their hierarchy is. The Chief Executive leads the party, just as much as their nominal leader does, but from the perspective of an executive.
This argument, however, began with my reaction to the bullying - yes, bullying - of Bonnybanko for posting what every reasonable person believes, that the current standard of integrity and morality among politicians in general seems to have reached an all-time low.
I understood the post at once, yet GSM greeted it with a peevish "What is that supposed to mean?" Why have I seen more people leaping to attack my posts, than there are posts condemning that one? Could it be that the attackers find it more fun to attack than to defend?
Your first paragraph is entirely false. The appointed CEO carries far less influence than the elected leader, who for the current and past two leaders at least has also been the First Minister of Scotland, which is why their influence is hugely more significant than the CEO.
You seem to interpret my corrections as bullying yet you persist in disseminating false information.
l think it's important for people who want to contribute to a conversation about Scottish politics to know the facts and not confuse other contributors with misinformation.
Feeling rather bullied myself here, every time l correct misinformation I'm told I'm bullying!
