Got the wineready in the fridge. I did think it justified the English Sparkling.

After Sunderland's vote for Brexit indicated the way the result was going to be I'm suddenly worrying that it might go to Reform☹️ 😱

Not long now until the exit poll...

Just getting over covid, very tired, but will be watching the results. I enjoy listening to Peston and Chris Mason, so may channel hop if it is on both sides.

Nyetimber English sparkling by any chance? If so, I'll be round in a minute.

Alas Reform 13, otherwise it will be such a relief.

ITV just said that from the exit polls it looks like Penny Mordaunt and Jeremy Hunt have lost their seats.

I’d planned to watch the exit polls, go to bed and switch back on about 3 am . I’m not feeling like switching the tv off - it’s exciting

keepingquiet Thu 04-Jul-24 22:27:42

Reform- hope it's protest vote.

LizzieDrip Thu 04-Jul-24 22:28:31

I’m in bed, I’m going to try to sleep now for a couple of hours - we’ll see. David Davies, Welsh Secretary has just said he is going to lose his seat, reported on Welsh News.

That’s near where I live - friend lives more or less next door.

I’m watching alone but whatsap means I’m watching with my book group, two close friends and my sister

My 16 year old grandson is watching on his mobile - in South Africa! He's studying political science and is very excited by it all.

BigBertha1 Thu 04-Jul-24 22:40:43

Having a sleep first then eatching. Divided household here so muted celebrations.

Mamardoit Thu 04-Jul-24 22:42:15

Which channel are we all watching? I'm clicking through but lingering on Sky and GBNews.

Whitewavemark2 Thu 04-Jul-24 22:43:46

I’m watching Ch 4 but flicking around a bit, because Nadine Norris is driving me mad.
