An excellent speech, I thought.

He will work hard to mend this country - for the good of everyone. He’ll bring honesty and integrity back into politics; as he said ‘we’ve had enough of performance politics’.

Was the man with the sticks his Father? and the lady with the blue hair his sister?

I thought it was a very optimistic speech and it gave me hope

I felt very proud also for both Sunak and Starmer that they were able to see and greet like that, too I expect security at end of street very high.

His father died a long time ago I think.

I loved his speech, and I thought Sunak was very gracious and genuinely humble.

It was a very good speech. He said actions speak louder than words so I hope to see some positive action from him and his party.

Do you know MissA, I’m so glad you’ve said that because I feel the same about him. I was beginning to think it was me that’s a bit weird - everyone else seems to find him ‘boring, uninteresting, bland’ etc but I think there’s something rather entrancing about him🤷‍♀️ He might be my secret celebrity crush!!!

He's a slow burner, rather than a blow your socks off "Phwoar!" but I like that too.

I’m loving the new shadow cabinet. They said on Sky News that there are more state educated people in it than ever before. They also said that David Lammy had been forging ties with America for a long time, encompassing both Democrats and Republicans. A lot of thought has gone into these appointments and they’ve been building bridges for a long time.

I was very impressed with Reeves’ speech. I hope she achieves her planned outcomes.

I was moved by Starmer's speech this morning. Like many, I thought he maybe didn't have much depth, but have completely changed my mind. He is a principled man, started his speech with acknowledging, kindly, his predecessor. Compare and contrast to that lying buffoon Johnson. I feel cheered, and hopeful.

I also noticed that heading through the crowd to the stage, people not only shook his hand and patted his back,they actually pulled him to them and kissed him.
