I totally agree. The Democrats need to step up and get a strong candidate who can face Trump, even more difficult for Biden to compete against him now that he is being hailed as saved by God. USA is on a rapid decline, certainly morally; anyone who thinks it acceptable to vote for a rapist, bankrupt, sexual predator is just beyond my thinking.

You’re so right HPQueen, a rapid decline. How women, especially in those southern states where abortion in any circumstances is banned, can vote for the sexual predator, morally bankrupt Trump is beyond me.

I find it hard not to believe the way the country was built, with the awful treatment of native Americans, the disgusting brutal treatment of slaves, reliance on guns then the relative isolation of huge swathes of America contribute to a culture miles away from that in Europe. We share a language and their are familial links but the cultures are dissimilar.
