She called Joe Biden a racist and then agreed to be his VP.

Urmstongran, is this some kind of diss the politician competition that only you know the rules of so far?
Seriously, why are you doing this, do you want somebody to leap in and post a bad thing Trump has done for every one Harris has done, like some weird game of Top Trumps? (Freudian slip there )

My sincere apologies Casdon, seriously. You are right of course. It’s not very edifying is it? I got carried away (I do this at times, it’s one of my charms. Cough). It’s just when I see KH (aka “Word Salad Annie” - okay, okay - I’m REALLY going to desist now - honestly! But it did amuse me!) being almost deified (Harris = GOOD Trump = BAAD man) when I know for sure Trump truly does have millions of supporters, I suppose I, as often the ‘lone voice’ on these threads, push my support too hard.

I am genuinely sorry. It must be irritating. I will curb it from now on.

But please remember (all of you) Trump IS actually very popular with many many good people. OMG! I sound like the man himself there hehe!

It's not tales, that information re the relationship is everywhere. It is of no interest to me either way but its readily available information. Conjecture about the relationship is probably as accurate as calling people rednecks.

Trump has a huge following - including Americans of black and Latino heritage. Even more of a mystery to me is the reality that many women admire him. He’s a misogynist, he happily boasted about grabbing p****y - they’ll let you do anything if you’re rich 😵‍💫
He’s a loathsome individual, he is offensive about and towards people. I have grandsons - no way would we want them to see him as a role model

Politically I am more a Republican than a Democrat but hope for the sake of the rest of the world that Kamala Harris or whoever is to replace Joe Biden kicks Trump in to the wilderness.
I really love your posts Urms, I don’t agree with many of your political views but love how you throw a little grenade in here and there and then sit back and enjoy.

It isn’t gossip it is a fact, highlighted at the time, and again when she was appointed as VP.

there for all to see, even more so since the invention of the www.

It was a consensual relationship years after his divorce, which neither of them have denied. It’s a bit of a non story really, it’s just that the Trump entourage are trying to make something of it.

It was "fact checked" by Reuters because the facts were being manipulated to suggest KH was having an illicit affair with a married man to enhance her career prospects AND it wasn't true!

Why anyone is prepared to be a politician is totally beyond me. It's not just a dirty business it pollutes everyone! Just out of interest I looked at a huge variety of media to see how Biden's announcement and KH's endorsement was reported tbh it was pretty sickening .

Just in the interests of the accuracy everyone says they want, he was still legally married, not divorced, but separated for many years. That's stated clearly in the Reuter's factcheck.

Of course it's a non story, much of the dirt dished out on public figures whether politicians or not comes under the same heading.

Odious as he is I can imagine even Trump has been subject to similar treatment, people do like to gild the lily even when there's plenty of real ammunition.

Thanks Rosie51. I’ve never understood why women are so ruthless in their pursuit of women in positions of power who have relationships with men with a past, when men who do the same (or worse) seem to get a feee pass.
