Dr Jeffrey Kuhlman, ex-White House Medical chief was quoted in The Guardian stating all Presidential candidates should undergo mental health assessments, considering the tremendous responsibility of the job, and perhaps no-one should be allowed to run for office above the age of 70.

Seems reasonable when we see Trump STILL ranting about the 2020 election being "stolen" from him and - very recently - claiming he won the TV debate with Kamala Harris, no doubt about it, he won hands down.......but when the former head of medical staff at the White House voices his concerns about a former President's general behaviour then that certainly gives pause for thought.

I know some people in their mid/late eighties sharp as a tack but sadly also know some merely in their seventies who are forgetful and sometimes get confused.
Depends on the individual, but I think looking at both Biden and Trump neither of them are fit enough to be President.
Trump talking about migrants eating people’s pets wasn’t the only clincher for me, the man has been talking utter rubbish for some time.

At least Biden was aware enough of his limitations to hand over to Kamala.

It is very arrogant to state that somebody is too old for something; and very tempting to say it when you disapprove of their opinions or want to stop them from doing something they want to do but you don't like for some reason.

I am not sure anyone is saying that there should be age limits on anyone, but do think it is reasonable to ask all candidates, regardless of age, to undergo mental and physical health screening, including cognitive tests.

At least we know what Kamala Harris and the Democrats stand for. Who knows what the Republicans stand for, or what any of their policies are. The party seems to have only one member, Donald Trump and what he stands for, nobody knows, if they listen to what he is saying.

He said today that the greatest problem facing the car industry was the threat of nuclear weapons. i really wish he would expand on this so that we could understand this risk. because if that is so, then motor industries across the world need to be able to plan their response to this threat.
