I do wonder, after the releasing of prisoners without any thought of rehabilitation, accommodation or tracing them, the winter fuel allowance, the acceptance of gifts more appropriate to a celebrity that a millionaire PM, whether labour voters feel this is what they voted for a couple of months ago.
People needed a change and they could see Conservatives were losing support.
This however, it's a doom laden approach, they act first, question later.

Exactly why in smaller classes differentiation can be better, especially at primary level. So most needs can be accommodated.

In that case, how about the government funding "all" schools better, so that smaller classes can be provided?

growstuff you must be aware how special needs are assessed?
Well if you insist on suggesting that I am lying when I am not - patronising is about right.
Educational psychologists….

Yes, I am aware how special needs are assessed.

That sort of infers that I am lying. You are the one making it up as you go along today. A real credit to your party!

Surely that is what the echp is for?
To decide on what support is needed for each individual child.

For some, extra tuition, a different starting time, etc, and for others, full one to one to support throughout the day.

Without that, anyone could decide, rightly or wrongly, that their child needs special support.

Gov.uk
EHC plans are held by 434353 children in England
Sen children registered but without Ehc
1238851

Roughly two thirds of Sen children don’t have EHC.
Okay Do you get it yet? growstuff

I’ll agree with you here!

Assessments are way way behind due to shortages in assessment staff and growth of SEN children.

One of the biggest issue here, especially in younger children, is the line between behavioural issues and their causes, which can be many.
