Yes, that is a historic problem and one that is being addressed.

More needs to be done to give children, especially teenagers, a purpose. In rural towns especially, there seems to be a lack of facilities for young people.

Allira, with modern communications it's a small world, and I do know that when indigenous peoples dwell in former or actual colonies, they are usually comparatively disadvantaged .

Pro rata is not enough for a people who remain in need of enriched education, better housing and extra health care so that they can take their places alongside and be as affluent as other people in Australia.

The important thing is to make sure things are fair now toward the indigenous people of Australia, which for all I know it already is.
Shouting at the King on his visit is just rude and I understand that this political outpouring isn’t how everyone feels.

You can’t start talking of full reparation, the present population of Australia isnt going to allow that, they can be given a fair share, that has been the aim for many years.

Aboriginals get their pro rata share of welfare payments etc plus 8 billion dollars each year, a total of nearly 40 billion dollars.

I too feel that one can hardly understate the wrongs that indigenous people have suffered at the hands of imperialists from all European countries.

I doubt that the number of crocs they might hunt would make much difference to the survival of the species.

There are crocodile farms, anyway, where they're bred for expensive designer handbags and shoes. So denying native Australians the right to hunt crocodiles for food would seem hypocritical.

She was queuing before they had even left Sydney, an hour’s flight away, and was still not at the front.
