How is the king eligible for it? His income is quite healthy as far as I know.

Perhaps he realises his home (s) are a bit big for his needs, but doesn't want to move.

I still don't understand how he is eligible. I doubt he is on pension credit.

J52 on her LinkedIn profile RR states she worked as an economist at HBOS.

Allegedly former colleagues have said that RR did actually work in the Halifax/HBOS complaints department, in a small 3 person support unit which managed administrative processes, IT matters and small projects and planning.

But she did work for the Bank Of England as an Economist for six years and during that time was seconded to Washington DC.
