Will Trump Last The 4 Year Term?

I think he will - he will have the best of medical care. I don’t think he is as bad as Biden or some of the previous Presidents like Ronald Reagan was at the end.

He certainly looks alert and aware, while Biden always looks half-asleep.
I don't get the impression that Trump is anyone's puppet, so if he does become unfit to rule, he will be guided by people with the same attitudes as him.

They will just do what has happened with Biden. The back seat advisors will run the show and Trump will just be propped up and paraded in public when needed.

As for Musk, not a US citizen, no vote and unelected, he will probably get bored and drift away or get dropped. I do not think he is a stayer.

I'm sure he'll be just fine. He's sat a cognitive test which he's endlessly congratulated himself on doing so well. Incredibly well. Outrageously well.

Yes, he does make unusual statements. He is quite unusual . But I'm interested to see what he'll do this term.

We do need to stop stressing about Trump. So many people are filled with such loathing it's irrational.

Fact is he won comfortably. And not everyone who voted for him was uneducated either.

Regardless of all other factors, he’s 78, and a self confessed junk food addict. It’s in the lap of the gods, as he’s already above the average life expectancy for American men.

Did anyone see Newsnight on Jan 9th where they interviewed Joe Lonsdale another tec billionaire? It was a fascinating insight into the beliefs and aspirations of these billionaires and why they will I think become the true power behind Trump.. They all say they want the truth..

I think the first 2 years are not going to deliver what was promised, there will be a great deal of unrest, and that the mid term elections will deliver a change in the House of Representatives and the Senate. I dont think his ""Cabinet" is very stable.

I think Trump will go the distance but his term will be full of political turmoil and possibly unrest on the streets of the US. Atm we are hearing more about his sidekick Musk but Trump notoriously hires people who become close to him shortly before unceremoniously dumping them. And I doubt Trump will enjoy Musk being in the public limelight more than him for long, especially seeing as some now refer to him as President Musk. My guess is he will be gone before summer.

Yes, but what I’m talking about is the suggestion (more than once) that there will be no election at the end of the term, merely a hand down to another Trump.

Trump is a very determined man and will still be there at the end of the four years. He is probably already planning for another 4 years as Potus.

He would need to change the Constitution in order to serve more than two terms, but I wouldn’t bet against him trying to do that.

Well, if so, that is hugely insulting.

I don't think that he will last the term functionally due to his reportedly appalling diet and alleged reliance of Adderel to keep himself alert. However, I agree that he will likely end up as some sort of weird, wheeled out frontman for the people he has appointed. Caveats; he appoints and dismisses people in a regular and unpredictable way, he will not be able to carry out all he has promised, however much his fans may wish it.

I am no fan of Trump the man, let alone Trump the POTUS, but accept of course that he was democratically elected. The fault for this situation lies with the Democrats in my view; they knew, the world knew, that Biden was failing, but still he was the candidate until it was too late and suddenly Kamala Harris was to be the saviour. It was unrealistic and rather desperate

I and many of the sane world can but hope not. However as he has surrounded himself with plenty of equally unbalanced individuals only time will tell.

It would be of course, but I doubt that would bother him. He was very animated when talking to Obama. And when was at the Notre Dame gathering he was very alert watching people throughout..

Trump will change the amendment concerning the Natural-born-citizen clause so that Mask can stand in his shoes, if he fall ill.
