She does look as if butter wouldn't melt in her mouth.

I hope Starmer isn't a sucker for a pretty face.

Not saying Louise Haigh isn't attractive either, of course but she looks more like a competent woman than sweet little girlie.

Every picture tells a story!

The only reason Tulip had to resign was purely because of having a brown skin and being muslim. Deviant tory ministers didn't resign when convicted of being in breach of the MC because they were white middle aged males. I am no supporter of Tulip Siddiqui and her aunt was basically a corrupt dictator propped up by the racist Modi govt. Racism is alive and kicking sadly.

That is just silly.

What about Louise Haigh?

Witsend
There is a piece in the DM today written by a journalist of Bangladesh origin.
He has tracked her for years. I would imagine he’s cock-a- hoop. 😂

I read it - thanks!👍

Kalm Your information is not correct.

Michael Fallon, Priti Patel, Liam Fox, Damian Green. All Conservative ministers, all resigned for breaking the conduct rules.

MOnica I think you missed my point which wasn't specifically about TS and definitely not about Bangladesh. I was talking about you saying if any allegations are made, even with no proof, people should have to go. That seems dangerous to me and frankly unworkable.

I did not say that.

This is copied from the post I was referring to

Anyone in that particular post has to be the purest of the pure, and if accused, even incorrectly, should immediately step down from the post until proved innocent (or not)

You said allegations I said accused but other than that I think it is what you said.

Have you got a source for that claim?

I accept my error theworriedwell, but I was thinking really of cases with some substance, not someone just ringing the Whips up and saying so and so took money from China with no evidence to support it.

Any system is open to misuse, and if it is, rules can be revised.

Been around the patch in senior circles when you're the only non-white in the room, trust me the bosses don't want to be saddled with controversy. Suffice to say the tory MP's only resigned or were sacked more like when due process was completed.
