The man is a narcissist and its what they do! They have a grandiose sense of self and their abilities.
It's difficult to watch this man playing out his inner childish and very disturbed world.

I wonder whether he is a sociopath.. He doesn't appear to have any emotions..

characterized by an exaggerated sense of self-importance, constant need for attention or praise, inability to cope with criticism or defeat, poor relationships with other people.

Nobody’s mentioned his stance on the environment. When he ruins that which he’s intending to do there’s little hope left.
