I’m actually very surprised that 50% of US population have passports, there will obviously be large numbers of migrant citizens that don’t have birth certificates. So it’s daft to insist on birth certificates, however if there are large numbers of voters who cannot be verified, its about time they were, so get on with it. We have AI now so it shouldn’t take long.

Many disabled people need a straw, paper straws are not strong enough, many folks cannot afford the reusable ones (not sure what they are made of)

Paper straws were ubiquitous in my youth. I don’t recall them collapsing or becoming sodden. It’s surely not beyond the ability of man or woman to make a durable paper straw?

Yes they do have marriage certificates.

However, according to the article I posted, the SAVE Act does not state if marriage certificates will be allowed as a valid means of identification.

250 million a day disposable plastic straws are used in the USA - every day!

I pick up litter and sea waste on my local beaches (UK) every day of my life.
5 years ago I'd pick up multiple plastic straws every day.
Now I rarely see one. Plastic waste has got better since all the Plastic Free initiatives.

Trumps endorsement of disposable plastic straws is a disaster for the environment and wildlife.

Every state has their own ID systems, but they must be Real Ids in order to be valid after a certain date. My state has already transferred over to Real Id. But some have not.

Slide 1 is the before. Slide 3 shows what those pages look like now. 404 error messages. Data is gone.

Slide 2 shows how the wording they did have has changed. It is slight, but should be noted.
